Simply Waterproof Sleeve for Tablet and Netbook Computers

It's basically a big, heavy-duty zip-loc bag but was just what I was looking for to protect my laptop inside my mostly water resistant backpack while commuting on a bicycle. I chose this sleeve over others because 1) it was cheaper, and 2) I didn't need the padding (and extra bulk) of other sleeves because my backpack already has a padded laptop sleeve.My chief complaint is the lack of information on both Amazon and the manufacturer's website about what size device this sleeve can accomodate. I took a gamble and just ordered without being certain it would fit my laptop (Acer C720P Chromebook) and it barely fits, luckily. In case you're wondering, according to the product's label (pictured), it fits tablets 10.5" x 7.5" x 1.0" and smaller. Please add this information to the product description and add a photo of the label that is legible online (the manufacturer has a few photos of the label on their website but it's very difficult to read).

It's a big ziploc bag, but a robust one that hasn't wrinkled up as much as a sandwich-type bag. Well worth it, though you obviously need to be sure of a good seal. I get 2-3 months out of one using it 3-4 times per week before the seal separates. (Note that it is still watertight when it separates, but it's considerably weaker and tricky to open.) You might want something more robust with extra seals if going whitewater rafting with your tablet, but why you'd be using a tablet then raises other questions. This is fine for reading on a tablet during a casual soak.

I took my iPad backpacking in the Pacific Northwest, and this sleeve kept it dry and safe. It actually fits in the sleeve with the protective case I use, so it was great. Good to know I can feel confident in bringing it with me on these kinds of trips. It performs exactly as expected.

Touch screen still works very good

a piece of junk! The first time I opened the zip lock style opening, one side of the zip lock pulled completely away from the side, making it utterly useless for anything! use a ZipLock brand food storage bag...better and cheaper!!!

Pros:Appears very sturdy plastic. The seams are well sealed. I have not yet used it; however it meets my expectations.Cons: None, so far.

Description does not tell you that you cannot use tablet while in sleeve. Do not order this item unless you are looking for an aluminum foil envelope.

This sleeve is not transparent so you cannot use the tablet. I needed to be able to use the tablet when at the beach or pool
