I bought this for my husband who is IMPOSSIBLE to find gifts for that he actually likes. This one got a big thumbs up! We are both in our 60s and remember playing croquet as kids in the 1960s. Given that we have learned to love staying at home during the COVID pandemic, I wanted to find something that we could use in the backyard where we never go due to the fact that it is just a square of grass surrounded by fruit trees. I did a fair amount of research and thought this looked like the best choice. We live in Southern California where it is warm and dry year-round, so didn't need a really heavy set, but not a cheaply made one either. My husband also liked the compact storage bag that doesn't take up too much space. So far, this is a winner!
