I Searched High and I Searched Low, This one is the Best I Know.
None of the other one's would fit under our huge dish rack except this one. It's perfect and even better than the original one we were using since forever.Make sure you keep this one clean all the time and it'll last longer than you think.Don't forget you can use anything like this, or any other tray-ish apparatus for trays that help you organize and put away stuff. Little stuff big stuff in between stuff, you need to put them away some time so gather them all together, and use this as a working station or near you working with the stuff.Don't forget when you need to siphon stuff also, you can siphon it over this so it drips on it and goes safely to a collection container or bin or pale or garbage. Messy kids also need something to mess on, so you can use this also for that, or just for that it's up to you.And for such a great price, I'm surprised it's as good as it is, so now I don't have to leave the home to find one, and if I did leave the home to find one, I'd be searching for a long time and coming home with crap, and expensive crap too. They all gather water in the middle, they all are flimsy, they all get disgusting after a while, they all feel like they should be free, but the only thing that's Elevated for drainage is the side walls. If you wanted legs on this thing to Elevate the whole thing, then that would have been another 5 to 10 dollars. If you wanted something not so flimsy then that would have been another 5 to 10 dollars, and if you wanted something to not be able to get disgusting after a while, that would be another 5 to 10 dollars.Put the elevation under it yourself, be creative. Line it with a plastic or rubber lining that's harder if you don't want it so flimsy, and maybe clean it twice a week if you don't want it to be disgusting after a while. You can't get a 30 dollar Dish Drainer for under 10 dollars, so enjoy this one and happy draining.

Don't buy! There is an alternative -- what you're really looking for.
Like other reviewers, we searched local stores and online in vain to replace our stained and ancient Rubbermaid. Everything now has the wrong proportion. We finally found this, and despite the warnings about the flimsy quality, the proportion was right, and it seemed our only choice. Bad decision. This drainer "board" is not only thin and soft, but the outflow end is so warped that the corners are lower than the lip, so water accumulates there. And you can't just lift the far end to drain it, either; the "board" is too pliable, so you have to lift up the dish drainer separately. In our futile quest, we had looked at Bed Bath & Beyond with no luck. But just last week we were there for something else, and SURPRISE -- they were stocked with the drainer board of our dreams! The brand is "My Perfect Kitchen," Large Horizontal Drainboard." (You can currently find it on the BB&B website under either "Real Home Large Clear Drain Board" or "Large Drain Board in Clear.") It's not only exactly what we wanted, but we love the look of the clear material, AND it costs 50% LESS than the "Better Houseware" drainer! We have repurposed the "Better Houseware" drainer mat for drying off our shoes after cleaning them in the utility sink . . . waste not, want not.

Adequate but doesn't tilt enough to drain water
This is adequate to replace my old Rubbermaid; however, it doesn't slope enough to drain into the sink. One edge should be higher so that it slants enough to drain. Also, the material is flexible so you can kind of bend it - not sturdy like my old Rubbermaid. Ah, RIP my old drain board. They don't make them like you anymore.

It's ok
It seems to be hard to find a decent dish and drain board set. I suppose most people have dishwashers. I bought this to replace an old rubbermaid set. I bought another rubbermaid dish drain as I like the style of it, but I went for another mat.I picked this one as on the one edge, the lip which in theory drains into the sink, does not go the entire length of the side (as the rubbermaid did).So if this board is positioned correctly, excess water should drain down into the sink. This board is not as sturdy as the rubbermaid but it is perfectly adequate. The silver colour is quite attractive and the shorter lip in the one side drains into the sink when positioned just over the edge of the sink.Mine was shipped in a large box with support so it was not bent but perfectly straight.

A bit disappointing overall.
Not as sturdy as the one I had to replace. Drainage not ideal; could be designed with more height at back end so drainage would flow out better, especially if has to drain over the edge of inset sink. Utensil cup too small.

Larger and sturdier than I expected.
Look at the size carefully to make sure it fits your counter top. This is a little bigger than the run of the mill dish drain mats. It's a quality product.
