Disappointing speed for long write jobs
What would be nice is if Corsair mentioned that for certain kinds of jobs that require writing very large files, this SSDs performance is much worse than their competition.

Unimpressed for the money
IInstructions were very simple and it didn't work after installing. Had to find YT videos telling you how to enter your drive allocations, how to format it and get it to show up in Windows10. Would have helped if the 1 page instructions mentioned this, instead of me fiddling with BIOS and wasting time. Also, 2TB SHOULD MEAN 2TB! Not 1.8tb!! False advertising yet again and I'm wondering how the industry gets away with it. You might think it's only 0.2 short, but that's 200 gigabytes! This is the capacity of Some of my other backup hard drives! Considering you pay a lot for an SD card which only has 64gb this is really peeing in your pocket and I'm tempted to send it back on principle.I also noticed the heat sink getting quite warm to touch, before I even assigned a drive letter. Only time will tell how this fairs under heavy load.I cannot comment on the speed yet, as I've not used it for any length, as I'm still planning how to store my stuff on which drives and which ones will be the backups.I already have an MP600 1tb for my C drive, which came with the PC and I wanted to get another one with similar speed specs to avoid bottlenecks and get the most from my system, however for the money I'm pretty peeved at loosing 200gb. That's a heck of a lot.

Fine
Worked straight away, just cloned my system disk over, took out the old one and this just loads up no issues.Contrary to popular belief it has actually sped up my windows from 1min07 to 54s from cold boot to gettign the wallpaper engine up and running. Fantastic.Losing stars though because they could'nt include a M2 screw. Serioiusly? Two HUNDRED pounds for this little thing and they couldn't chuck in a 0.3p screw? Mobos should have this but they dont always, they're easy to lose and mine has heatsink on with screw embedded in it, I had to try to prize it out somehow to get it to work with this. What should have taken seconds took 30mins of looking for screws swearing and cursing. Ridiculous.

Overall good. Heatsink meh.
I bought the 2TB capacity and expected it to be slower - it is but not by much. See screenshot. Easy to install, no screw provided (can buy packets of these online). I say easy to install AFTER removing heatsink. My Gigabyte motherboard has 2 NVME M.2 slots. One above graphic card and one below. Installing in the top slot would be easiest however the bottom slot gets covered by the graphic card - so off came the heatsink - easy to remove.

Falsely advertised write speeds
The description on Amazon states "3,800MB/sec sequential write speeds". The box, which they conveniently don't have pictured shows that it has up to 1950 MB/s write, a huge difference.

Absolutely excellent!
Got it as my main boot drive for my first pc build and I’ve had zero problems. The bios detected it’s stupidly fast! Absolutely love it!Will be ordering another before too long! 😁
