I was interested in using less make up, no foundation and powder as I’ve done for years, aging skin, even well taken care of skin starts to show lines. Boom sticks looked like a simple 1 step make up, they have not disappointed! A little Glo stick to add a little extra moisturizer to a fresh face, the Color stick gives an instant soft rosy glow to your cheeks, a dab on the end of your nose gives a sun kissed look that is perfect, a dab of glimmer down the bridge of your nose, a dab under your eyes and on your lids and you have a natural look of perfection all in less than 5 minutes. I don’t wear lipstick but did try it to see if it works as described and yes, your lips have an instant hint of color. If you’re looking for a natural look Boom Sticks are your last make up purchase, in addition it leaves your skin moisturized all day long and washes off with ease, a dab of Micellar water and you are back to a fresh clean face ready for evening moisturizer. Boom sticks were everything and more than I expected!

I'm 59 and have pretty good skin. I tried it initially with no foundation and it just seemed to enhance any flaws I had (age spots, fine lines etc.) I tried the next time with my light foundation and it looked much better. I agree with others who say this product is expensive for what you get. Even though I had read a lot of reviews that the applicators were small, I was still a little shocked when I opened the package and saw for myself how small they were. I do like the sheerness and moisturizing effect of a "balm" like applicator, but I feel I could get the same product in any department or big box store around for much less if I put in the footwork to locate it. I thought I would give this a try, knowing it was probably very overpriced, but curious nonetheless. All the applicators feel like lip balm and are sticky on your face. The eye applicator is very hard to apply because its so wide, but it does give a nice sheen if you can get it in the right place. The cheek applicator goes on very dark initially, but when you blend it, it gives a light color to your cheeks. The moisturizer is like a large lip balm, very moisturizing. I wouldn't put it all over my face, but it did a good job around my eyes and lips. Overall, its okay. I probably wouldn't purchase again because of the price.

This product gives a nice natural glow to your face. It does not cover up, or change spots or freckles...just a light glow. It is not greasy, or thick...nice moisture for the face

These products are easy to spread on the face/ skin, moisturizing and sheer. The products mostly tint and give glow to your skin so if you are looking for a cover up this is not the product you want. The color stick does give nice color to the lips, cheeks and any place else that you want a little color. It is a little spendy for the small amount of product that you actually get, but, a little goes a long way. The Boom sticks work for me because I never really used a lot of makeup throughout my entire life and this gives me a little glow and shimmer. It will not cover pimples, freckles or anything other skin imperfections.

Upon seeing a commercial thought this product was worth trying. My hope was based on the application supporting aging skin (late 50’s) and a new way to enjoy makeup.Especially with the pandemic dwindling am enjoying spa time doing nails, hair, etc. Why not freshen up with a new makeup vibe, too?The box the three sticks come in is a simple design. Not sturdy as it was bent from Amazon shipping. For the price I’d of thought it might have been a little firmer then flimsy cardboard.The bag is very nice. Upscale burlap vibe. Score points for this purse tote.The sticks are very small. Based on the product itself, density, and experience with others didn’t get the impression this would last long. Though some reviewers claim it does I wonder how often they use it. If daily, I doubt it’ll last six months.I applied the sticks in order.Compared to my regular regime and products, such as Coconut oil (organic Aldi brand as all other products tried did not do as great a job as this brand) for make up remover for a decade don’t think the moisturizer does any significant difference at all.I think this is due to what I’m currently using doing a very good job. I also use Jason’s vitamin E 25,000 IU prior to make up application and it never builds up or leaves me feeling a lotion residue.I thought this trio might offer me a similar simple moisturizer and for the price hoped better then my current skin vibe.After bathing before make up I use a dab of Yoeuth with hyaluronic acid plus vitamin C and tripeptide-31 for eyes and to hydrate line areas that plump them naturally. A little yellow concealer on the under-eye area.Using the three sticks together with no other product do not appear to impact these areas similar to the products described as they’re not designed to.Though I was hoping for some sort of affect to encourage me this Trio for about $70 is worth the investment and keeping.I had hoped to see a difference, but for me nothing improved my appearance. On the bright side apparently I’m doing something right if I’m yielding results that are comparable to the ads and testing the product.Part of me feels badly because I opened the containers and tried them all, but the result is not better than what I’m doing with moisturizing or make up application which for me isn’t complex and does a lovely job evening my skin tone and slight variations that appear with age.I have found using Koji White soap does an exceptional job diminishing skin coloration variations that appear with age. Plus, even removed most of a scar discoloration from a cut, too. This has helped my complexion very well. To include a burn mark that’s all but disappeared as a result of this use over time.I’m not doubting some people will find this product helpful as noted in many reviews. For me, it’s not improving my appearance and even makes me look older without using the other products for my eyes and a little concealer with a powder to finish things off.A friend who’s a fashionista and make up artist in NYC gave me a tune up a half dozen years ago and so far that consultation and help made the biggest difference to my appearance.The makeup I had plus a few she recommended really made the difference. I haven’t been able to top since.For you this might be worth a try. As a prime member free returns can make giving this a shot for yourself worth the try.For me, it’s a no and ⭐️⭐️Two stars for the presentation in the little tote bag and concept. Minus three because for me the fee and outcome do not work personally.
