This is a beautiful figurine, as are all of Jim Shore's works. I have read and sent the Rainbow Bridge poem many times to friends who have just lost a pet. This just seems to have a restoring effect for those who are mourning the loss of a dear pet.

This statue is simply beautiful. The beauty of the artwork and meaning behind rainbow bridge is just too much. I wasn't sure if it was mentioned, but there is a space between the paw prints and flowers where you can write your beloved pet's name. My little Poodle has been gone many years now but I still miss her dearly and know one day we will be reunited. She was my "one in a million girl" to quote a song. If you are an animal lover you will certainly appreciate this memorial.
