Hetaru Hand Held Respiratory Muscle Trainer Drug-Free Respiratory Exerciser Device Therapy

I've had asthma(allergies to dust, mildew, pet dander, etc)since I was a child. My dad helped me build my lungs up by running. I ran from a young child until I tore my Achilles in my early 40s when I sprinted before stretching!!! My personal gym equipment was put on hold for a year(long story). It was then (2008) that I met my future husband and slowly put on a few pounds until 7 years ago. I remarried in August 2013 and on January 1, 2014, I retired at age 52. We sold our homes (over 4000sq combined)and bought a small lake house so, my workout equipment was given to my children. This is when I discovered that my husband likes to watch television. A LOT of television! I gained OVER 50 lbs in 2015-2019. Needless to say, for the last few years, I again have issues with asthma.At the end of 2019, I began exercising again and still having occasional asthma issues(remodeling home). I saw an add for a similar breathing exerciser months ago and thought seriously about buying it. This is when I began my research. I came to the conclusion that when we breath, we inhale and exhale. In the past, when I have asthma, I'd forcefully push out when breathing and it always made me cough up cold. This is why I purchased my Hetaru. I know with A LOT of exercise and using my Hetrau, I can get myself back in shape and have healhier lungs.The first time I used it, both inhale and exhale turned dials on 1, I coughed up cold from my lungs so I knew this was going to be a good thing. I've been using it several times a day and dialing it up when it becomes too easy.I recommend this product. It has already begun to help my lungs.

I purchased this device and when it arrived it had obviously been previously used. I called Amazon customer support and this product is labeled as a “personal item” so it is not allowed to be returned and resold. That said - as this item is sold and shipped directly from the manufacturer - the manufacturer likely is reselling on their side. Huge mistake to buy this brand. Amazon did a full refund - bc they are awesome - and I’ll be spending my $ with a different company.

This device looks exactly like The Breather but not sure if it works the same. Disappointed that I didn’t notice the name. It looks almost exactly like The Breather and popped up in my search

The inhale side of the device seems to have no difference in resistance for positions 1,2,&3 and very little difference in the exhale side in positions 2,3,&4.

Came very fast exactly like it said.

There are no instructions on how to use OR how to clean OR what 2nd piece is for! Like others you have to search the internet on what pieces are for but how do you clean? Obviously, I know how to clean mouth pieces but should you sterilize the entire device? Again, you need better instructions on this device! I just don't even want to try it as I like to know a little more about this device!

Such a helpful tool for recovery!!

I would recommend this product for people with breathing issues. After 3 months of use I can breath deeper and no longer am I out of breath after I climb the stairs.

Can start easy and work up to a powerful pulmonary rehab routine. Excellent quality at a very reasonable price.

You get what you expect to receive. It works, it's well made and it's given me the results I had hoped for after a couple of weeks.
