A Thought-Provoking and Deeply Moving Read
The Great Divorce by C.S. Lewis is an absolute masterpiece! This allegorical novella takes readers on a journey through a fantastical world, exploring deep theological and philosophical themes. Lewis masterfully blends imaginative storytelling with profound insights into human nature, morality, and the afterlife.

Very Thought Provoking
Lewis is a very powerful writing. That is a known fact. That is why he is so frequently read, quoted, patterned after, and studied. I have listened to many of his books and read Chronicles of Narnia several times. So when this book came up on my book clubs list I thought I will try reading but it its to difficult I can always go to the audio book. Well I nit only read this book. I marked several passages and plan to read it again

Worth your time read
5 Stars – Deep and thought-provokingI loved The Great Divorce! It was a great choice for my English class. The book is really deep and brought some new perspectives that I hadn’t considered before. The way it explores the themes of choice, good, and evil is really thought-provoking. It definitely made me think about things in a different light, and I’d highly recommend it for anyone looking for a meaningful read.

Good book
Very interesting read! Lot of allegory in his writing. It really displays the inner struggle of men and women revealed in their time and through the lenses of eternity. How even in the display of truth, it is still rejected for justified reasons or habits forming altered truths.

Enlightening
The choices we make that keep us away from God. Some many times we place our wants & desires above eternity with God. Lewis does a great job illustrating our poor choices and eternal consequences.

Beautifully written
It was a fantastic journey to the great beyond in the fantastic portrayal by C.S. Lewis. It was very thought provoking and grim at times. Then through the grimmness comes forgiving and hope.

Who better than C.S. Lewis
I absolutely love this book! Is this Heaven or is this Hell... the answer is Yes! Lewis has a way of bringing life's most contemplated questions into a fictional story that allows you to see possible answers to them in ways you couldn't before. My Lord God is Great! I hope I never end up taking the bus ride in the first place but if I do... I'm STAYING and going to the mountain! C.S. Lewis is a genuine treasure!
