Nulo Adult & Kitten Grain Free Dry Cat Food With Bc30 Probiotic (Chicken, 5Lb Bag)

I have six cats and I've been trying to get them on a higher quality food. Had been feeding Iams but they keep messing with the products and my cats got quite picky with it. Plus the Iams ingredients were never that great. I tried one brand that was high in soy and found that one of my cats was very allergic to soy. Was scratching so much he had patches of hair missing and scabs. None of my cats will eat Blue Buffalo at all which was surprising since at least two of them will eat most anything. I was ready to give up but then found Nulo. Surprise all six of the cats love the stuff! This was a tough issue to work through because just about any of the higher quality food would end up with half liking it and the other half will not even nibble on it. So Nulo really solved the problem for me. They all appear to be thriving in it. My only wish is that the kibble size was a little larger. Most of my guys like to crunch on something and they seem to be eating a lot of the Nulo by just swallowing it whole.

After searching for countless hours for a food with ingredients I feel comfortable feeding to my cat, I found Nulo. I can’t tell if my cat loves it or tolerates it, but he eats it no problem. He is 12 pounds and is fed 1/4 cup in the morning and 1/4 cup at night, but grazes throughout the day. I’m satisfied with his weight and he has maintained very good checkups at the vet. The kibbles are really small, which doesn’t bother me but my friend doesn’t like it because the food kinda falls out of her cats mouth (???) Overall, good food if you want to feed your cat something without trash like wheat, rice, soy, corn, or potatoes. High protein, lower carb, better food. Healthy cat.

I did a lot of investigation into brands and I feel very Good about Nulo. Highest protein for the price that I found and little to no ingredients of concern. Check out pawdiet.com for in depth analysis and endless head to head comparisons of all the brands. That's how I came to this choice. Zoe is not very picky but he loves the heck outta this food. All their flavors. It's more expensive than the corn cereal sold at Walmart. But someone told me you shouldn't buy pet food at a people store. What's more, if you've taken in a loving friend into your family then I pray you aren't in search for the cheapest crap you can find... I'd rather see my cat eat well before I do and that's why I feed him Nulo.. Of course buying from Amazon is the most affordable route I've found and saves me when I pull the near empty bag from the giant 'Tupperware' container to realize we're gonna need reinforcements in a couple days..

This is great healthy food and was recommended by my vet, but my cats don't love it. My eldest cat will eat it okay but she's never been a big eater, but my kitten who eats everything in site (even candy canes off our tree!) will meow and act like he's starving when this is the only thing left in his bowl. I sprinkle some Friskies in there which makes them like it more and I figure is a good compromise - healthy ingredients to make me happy, plus a little crappy indulgent food to make them happy. It's all about balance.

My cats Sam and Dean(They are brothers) love this food and we have given it to them since we brought them home. We love it because we are able to feed it to our older cat Gemini as well, without worrying about it lacking in nutritional needs for young and old cats. All of their coats are super shiny and the all have more energy. My 11 year old cat usually can't eat wet food without tummy issues but she loves it and her tummy does too! We alternate the Nulu Cat and Kitten wet and dry food. AM and PM

I love the ingredients (especially the probiotics) and really wanted my two cats to have a better dry food to supplement their canned meals. Unfortunately, both cats gave it a solid paws down and walked away from it. I don't think they appreciated the tiny round kibbles or the taste and smell. Both cats scarf down dry Purina "Kitty Crack" so I tried mixing in some of that and some treats. Since cats are not stupid, they just rolled their eyes at me and picked around the tiny, nutritious kibble and then begged for more "Kitty Crack" and treats. Finally, I got the bright idea to soak some 'grain free' kibble in water and then added it to their morning and evening canned food. That will at least help me get rid of this one bag. The cats seem fine without any dry kibble to supplement their twice a day canned meals so I learned something worthwhile. I'm not buying any more dry kibble and my cats are happily eating twice a day. So, thanks Nulo Grain! Elle W.

I got my kitten from a shelter where she was eating terrible food. She had tons of stomach problems so I went to my local pet store and asked for suggestions and read reviews online and this was the product that I selected for my kitten and she absolutely loves it! Every time I pull the food out she comes running and she is almost 3 now. She no longer has stomach problems, is more active/playful, has more of an athletic build now and I've noticed some amazing improvements in her coat! Overall she is now a very healthy and happy cat and I will be buying this product for a long time.
