Cute!
⭐⭐⭐⭐Tropes:💧Single Mom💧Brothers Best-FriendSurprisingly, I read these books in order. The Off Limits Rule by Sarah Adams was pretty cute! It wasn't what I was expecting to be honest. I went in thinking it was a bit spicy, but there was zero spice. It's safe for people who don't like reading smut lol.It was a cute book, and I adore Sarah Adams (I know Lucy doesn't like being called cute, but the overall book was cute). Cooper and Lucy are goals. Their relationship happened really fast, and I was intrigued by how their relationship would pan out that I forgot to annotate my book. Lucy is really relatable. Her thought process and her social interactions were so funny but so relatable. I was getting secondhand embarrassment because I'm 85% sure I did the same thing as her. She was a mood.Cooper was so misunderstood by his best friend, and that was sad to read about. Cooper gave Lucy an adventure and made her step out of her comfort zone. He made her feel confident and loved her despite her flaws. He treated her with respect and protected her. It's the little things that go a long way.The story felt a little rushed, maybe, and I wish there was more to their story.

This author is quickly becoming a favorite
This is only my second book read by this author and I already love her style, stories and characters. This one is on my read again list because I enjoyed it that much!!! Let’s start with the charactersLucy- right off the bat she is an INCREDIBLE mom and I automatically felt a kindred spirit to her“I don’t think everyone is meant to have careers that change the world. Sometimes you’ve just gotta pay the bills and then clock out so you can get to the life you love the most, which, for me, is being with Levi.”I mean that right there is me and I loved her for that. She was even willing to let her crush on Cooper go if he had no interest in hanging with her and her son. She was down to earth, funny, insecure,a fantastic mom and a little quirky (did I mention she’s a kindred soul 😉)Then there’s Cooper, I totally fell for this guy. He was kind, honest, loyal, fun, and totally head over heels for Lucy. He approached her brother about liking her and was quickly shot down. Cooper cares for Drew and really values their friendship so he decides to prove himself. Prove that he’s loyal, wants a commitment and can be everything Lucy needs. Of course they don’t last. Don’t get me wrong they don’t fall into bed together but he also decides he can’t wait and plays it straight with her brother. Such a great guy. One of my favorite moments that shows his character and strength is when he’s standing up to her sons father. Brent has basically been keeping her on the sidelines, stringing her along for years but not ready for a commitment so instead he plays with her feelings. Until Coop“‘you weren’t counting on me coming along and seeing that a woman like Lucy is not plan B. She’s the one you work your butt off to try to come even close to deserving and still know at the end of the day she’s only with you because you’re lucky. Like it or not, I’m here for Lucy as long as she’ll let me be in her life, so you need to knock it off with the rude comments. As for Levi, you sure as h$!! better believe I’m going to take care of him.’ Cooper’s head tilts slightly to the side after his breathtaking monologue, and he turns remorseful eyes to me. ‘Uh…sorry about the language, Luce. I’m working on it so it doesn’t slip around Levi so much. I’ll get better.’”With takes us into how he handles and interacts with her son Levi. Which needless to say is incredible. He loves that boy instantly. This was seriously such a good read!!!! The worst part about this book is that it’s the first in the series and I have to wait for the next one!

Cute and witty
This is such a fun and light-hearted romance. A wholesome romcom. It's a quick and happy read that made me giggle out loud. I just love the banter in this book!I enjoy the single mom trope and couldn't help but love and relate to quirky Lucy. Levi is sweet. However, Cooper is a bit of a blah character. There was more focus on his looks than his character. They are all immature. While some parts were relatable, it was too insta-love for my liking and believability. I do love them together, but it just made me cringe how quickly they went. I also found parts of the book to be a bit boring.

It was funny
This is the second book by this author that I read and I really like how the she writes, and how fast you can go through the story.I loved, loved The Cheat Sheet, so I was going with high hopes. I liked the book, my only problem was how perfect the man is. No flaws, at all. But the woman, she could have all of them.Other than that, the characters were super funny, I laughed a lot with how goofy the FL was. There were no explicit sex scenes, and there were a lot of lovey dovey moments as well.I am not that sure about the character arc of the MC. I got the feeling that the message was you are perfect just the way you are. So I would say that the characters changed a bit, but nothing very major.Overll all it was a good book that I recommend reading when you want to read something light, funny and romantic.

Quick read and funny!
I've enjoyed all of the books I've read by Sarah Adams so far. Though I felt this one was less believable (a perfectly scultped male finding a quirky single mom to be desirable just seems not very likely to me), I really did love it. It actually made me laugh out loud - which I find difficult to do with most books. I also never wanted to put it down - the story moved along perfectly and kept my attention. Great read!

Genius
Sarah Adams is a genius. I love her writing so dearly, I'm so glad to have found it!! The first book I read of hers was the Cheat Sheet, and when I fell in love with it, of course I had to read all the others! Her writing will make you laugh, cry, tear up and feel all the butterflies.

I should have started with Sarah Adams' first books so I could better see the evolution
2.85 ⭐️I really should have started with Sarah Adams' first books so I could better see the evolution she had in her writing, because it was immense.I liked Lucy's relationship with Cooper, but I loved Cooper's relationship with Levi more!I think it was a bit insta love and I'm not a big fan of this trope.I thought, once again, that the characters were a little immature. However, I think this improves a lot as Sarah's books come out (I feel like she has evolved a lot in both her writing and her characters).

ADORABLE !!!
It seems like Sarah's books never disappoint me !!I am found of rom-com so of course, this book was just perfect to me. I really enjoyed how it was written and how the relationship evolves between the characters. They're really cute together and even when they weren't a couple I found their chemistry really beautiful and sincere.I had a wonderful time going through this story and learn more about each character through the book. Sarah just knows how to write cute romantic comedies and make us smile and laugh while reading !! I can't wait to discover book 2 and see how it goes !If you want to read an adorable rom-com this book is absolutely for you !! I obviously recommend it.

The author is so talented
I have to say, that book was so well written and funny. I envy the talent of the author and just for that, and the amazing alchimie between the protagonists, I give it 5 stars. However, it terms of taste, I'm not really fond of "love at first sight because the guy is soooo hot". The magic, for me, died the first chapters. BUT, knowing the author ("my ennemi" being one of my favorite book of all time), I knew I was in for a metal ride and I was right!Passing the details about how sexy, and sexy, and hyper sexy was Cooper (with too many descriptions to feel romance instead of lust), the story was amazing. No dramas (I hate dramas!), Amazing conversations and flirts, and so many funny situations!Did I say I love the author's writing? Can't wait to read the story of Jessie!!
