This journal is amazing. The pages are aged and great quality and it even smells like an old book store! Love it! The only complaint I’d have is that is way smaller than the picture advertises! It has a cute clasp that locks but there’s no where to put a small lock in case you’re wondering. It’s stunning. Well worth it and I’ll buy more in the future! I shared a photo of it next to a standard xfinity tv remote for reference.

seen a lot of complaints about the "quality" of this item, but its meant to have a rustic hand crafted look, each one is slightly different and i love it, it makes it personal there is no one else that has a notebook exactly like mine. it is pretty small, not much bigger than my hand but i love it is a very convenient dream journal, diary, or lyric notebook.

I love this little book! Price was reasonable and the size was as expected. Fits perfect in my pockets. The paper was nice and thick and of a very good quality. I worked at a print shop for almost 10 years so I'm very familiar with paper and weights. This book's paper is very fine for the price. It should cost more! The leather is beautiful and the interior pages are bound nicely. The leather embossing is beautiful. Even the interior side of the leather cover has been covered with a durable black material making the leather sturdy and firm. The paper is thick enough for water colors, fountain ink and charcoal. The exterior latch is also well made to keep the book closed, designed for rugged use. It's easy to close and once it's closed it remains closed. It won't just slip open. It's a thick little book perfect for poetry, small sketches and anything else you can imagine. I will definitely buy this book again in th future! Handsome, and looks beautiful on my shelves.

I purchased this as a Christmas gift for one of my close friends who loves to write ✍. Well, thinking it would of been a decent size, when it arrived I was disappointed that it literally fit in the the size of my hand. Its pretty much a purse journal. I was so mad at 1st I told my 17 year old daughter that I couldn't gift this to my friend because she'd probably laugh at me because it was so SMALL. I was like where is the rest of the book, especially for the price I paid, but I guess for the price you pay for the craftsmanship, and the pages were really nice and thick and well made. I ended up ordering another journal and gifting this one plus another one to my friend so she had 2 just for extra writing space since this one was tiny and she ended up really liking this one or as she said she did at least and even she said she could put it in her purse which was the same idea that I had if I would of kept it. Just buyer beware, that this journal/book is tiny/small. Know that it can fit in your purse or big enough coat pocket. Its not a standard size or regular journal. But it is cute and well made. So I just taken off 1 star because of the size being so small. Other than that its a great purchase.

I love this beautiful, little book! The pages are amazing. Sharpie marker won't even bleed through. It's an absolutely amazingly crafted piece. I adore it for petitions. It's a nifty little spellbook shouldnyoi use it for that. Scripting, Journaling, or just everyday writing; this little book is amazing for all of that. Please read the dimensions because I thought it was a full sized book. (my own fault bc I didn't read). However, when I received it, there was 2 Seconds of shock bc it was so small. Then, when I actually LOOKED at it and held it, ugh I co ldnt be happier! I'm ordering a few more because it is just the bees knees!

This is so cool and pretty the only thing I didn't like is that it's smaller than expected but now I can fit it in my purse. For an idea it's about 5 inches tall and 4 inches long and about an inch thick. The paper is so high quality it feels like fabric but writes like a charm

Great buy

The leather cover is lovely and the closure is secure. The paper holds ink from a ballpoint nicely (I found a rollerball puts out a little to much and smudges). The pages are small but if you are careful you can use them well. They aren't all exactly even, but that's deliberate - this looks like the books one finds in medieval monasteries. If you're expecting modern precision, this isn't it. It's quaint and pretty. It fits my practices and needs perfectly.
