Awesome affordable fishing/diving knife
I've bought 2 of these in the past few years. Use it in salt water as a kill knife for spearfishing and kayak fishing, but it works well for bait, or even cleaning fish at the end of the day. The blade might get little spots of surface oxidation with wear, but keep it rinsed and maybe oil every now and then. Mine hold very securely in the sheath, just make sure they are clicked in fully. The black blade coating actually holds up ok. Can't beat the value at this price. (I paid more than twice the price at my local dive shop for a similar knife with a less secure mechanism, I lost it after 3 dives.)

Great little knife at a great price
I bought a few of these and use them for spearfishing in south florida. Although the knife is starting to rust just a bit, it's ok because it gets the job done. Great little knife at a great price. I'm going to buy some more.

Lost on the first dive
The knife itself was nice. Emphasis on "was." It probably still is nice, 70 feet down in the murky water of the lake. I hope the fish like it, I sure did for the 10 minutes I had it. The latch system sucks donkey balls, don't buy this if you actually intent to dive with it.

I like the size and for a kill knife is is ...
I have purchased two of these over the past three years. I like the size and for a kill knife is is not bad. It is difficult to reinsert back into it's holder when worn on you rubber dive belt. You have to protect the tip carefully as you guide it back into place for fear of cutting your self. The retention system is great and clicks cleanly back in to place and is easy to remove when needed. It's small size is great for carrying bad for holding on to when in use to silence a fish. It is easy to drop but that is the trade off for not having to carry a bulky knife and I can live with that part. The main detracter is it rusts very easily. I wash the knive in clean water after each use but both knives I have owned are good for one season only then the corrode and become useless. So they are somewhat cheap I like the compact carry aspects and the retentions system. Stainless steel or titianium might be the answer the cost would go up but then you wouldn't have to replace it every season

Great knife for freediving. Tip broke after 7 months of use.
Yes it’s sharp! And keeps its edge. I love how small this knife is. I don’t understand why people go for those giant lame cressi blades etc… they are thick dull and terrible. This knife however served me well for 7 months and stayed sharp the entire time. Unfortunately the tip broke in a fishes head today… So I’m only going to give it 4 stars. But honestly it’s been a great knife for the price, and good quality steel. I’d probably buy it again.

The locking mechanism to hold the knife is effective but can be disengaged easily with the natural motion of drawing the knife
Spent a long weekend in the keys diving with this knife. Was reasonably sharp out of the box, and held an edge well after being sharpened. The locking mechanism to hold the knife is effective but can be disengaged easily with the natural motion of drawing the knife. Overall an excellent knife for the money

Best knife for spearfishing
I love this knife for spearfishing because I can clip it to my weight belt and it usually lasts me about 100 dives before it breaks off and it isn't too expensive to replace

Best locking system and dive knife I never owned
This knife is perfect size for free diving I also use for SCUBA. On my scuba I have it on my shoulder strap as a back up. It would be great if they made one size up with the same locking system. LIKE Any underwater knife must be rinsed and oiled if you want your rust.
