A good all round light.
It's basically a bigger version of the "AA" model I've had for ten years minus the flashing, S.O.S. and 25% modes.Works well. On, off and focus with a simple twist. Painfully bright so don't look into it or shine it in a friend's eyes.Much more compact and lighter than the 3D version I also have. Hard to find something wrong with these LED equipped MAG Lights.

Good option, keep it by the back door - it'll last forever.
Incredible light. Runs near forever on three C cell batteries; so much so that I use AA adapter sleeves and run rechargeable AA's in it, and it still runs incredibly long and is now super light weight. Bright, long throwing beam and rugged design. Twist head activation removes a failure point (body switch). Thinner, shorter and lighter than the 2 C cell maglight I also have with the body switch (ML25T) and with 50% more voltage throws a much brighter light. Rugged, it takes a beating. Good for regular use where you want a good sized flashlight such as when wearing gloves, etc. However, as with the ML25T it works best with a tightly focused beam; adjusting for a wide area throw leaves a blacked out center. As such, it is good for a narrow throw but not so good for a flood light type.

Maglite quality
Well, we all know of Maglite's reputation for quality flashlights and I was not disappointed. I often walk in the early morning hours and bought this light to have something hefty in my hand, something that can be useful for knocking on a head if necessary. One thing that I had not expected was that I need a second hand to turn on the light which is by turning the head. It's okay but I think I'd feel some comfort in being able to keep my second hand free while turning it on. There is no doubt it's a quality tool and I don't regret its purchase however.
