Chromed Highway Clamps 1.5" Large Foot Pegs Compatible with V-STAR Roadstar KAWASAKI VULCAN [B0125VNRN8]

It took a longer than necessary time to install and adjustment was difficult. Product after install would not adjust to the correct angle, pieces did not fit correctly. High price, difficult to install, poor fit due to machining. Positives chrome beautiful, looks good. I would definitely not recommend.

No instructions and you will need to purchase split lock washers to get the clamp to firmly stay in place on the engine guard. However, the pegs look and feel great! So much more comfortable and the clamps adjust in almost any direction which allowed me to get the perfect position! So glad I didn’t spend $175 because these do the exact same thing. You will need the split lock washers and a little extra time to get it just right. I bought the washers at the auto parts place for about $4. But it was worth it for the price! 5 stars bc I saved so much money and they feel great!

Easy to install, looks factory.

Pegs are very good looking. They are rather difficult to install. Problem was, the clamp broke after only a week's riding on Both sides. Just lucky they didn't fall off during riding.

These pegs are identical to the HD ones my friend has on his 2017 Road Glide - at a fraction of the cost of the HD ones. The chrome on these is much brighter also. They have loosened up a bit from time to time but think about it. You're putting a smooth metal clamp on a smooth metal pole duh. Put a little loc tight on the bolts and maybe a little 2 sided tape or even a piece of electrical tape under the clamp to keep it from moving over time. Over tightening the bolts is only going to break something. Probably has more to do with how hard you're pushing on them with your feet anyways.

Mounted on my 2012 Kawasaki Vulcan 900 Classic..... The materials felt of decent quality in your hands. Hardware was of expected quality. Mounting was no issue, but did find that the clamp that mounts to your highway bar isn't the best. I've found personally, that the clamp doesn't apply a sufficient amount of tension when attached to the highway crash bar. You will notice the clamp will not hold adequately if you rest to much foot weight against it. That was just my observation in the shop and not out on the road with road vibration at play.

I opened up the package it seemed to be ok .It felt to be alittle on the cheap side but hey it was alittle less then 70 bucks and anymore things 100 bucks or less is usually on the cheap side(which is sad by the way) but hey I really dont want to spend 250-300 bucks for high- crashbar -pegs. Anyway I installed it with my own allen wrenches because the one they sent me was the wrong size typical but like I said its less then 70 bucks. I got it altogether and went to take a ride around the block for adjustment foot position purposes and as soon as I put my foot on the peg POP! The whole thing feel apart to the ground . The collar pin hing broke and I hadnt even got to the street yet . Good thing cause if I was on a road my foot could have slammed to the ground and on a bike when a foot hits the ground when moving it could rip you off the bike. notice the pictures . This product is just made of some cheap china pot-metal and the hing is so thin the pot-metal couldnt handle the weight of my size 12 foot and snapped. SO BE AWARE AND CHECK IT WITH ABIT OF WEIGHT BEFORE YOU HIT A ROAD . Slainte!

This came well packaged. After opening all the pierces I noticed two things: 1. There were no instructions 2. The hex key they provided didn’t fit any of the fasteners. So not a good start, but it wasn’t hard to figure out how it went together and I have my own set of Allen keys. As I went to assemble them I noticed there was rust/corrosion(see pictures) already starting on some of the parts. I almost went to return them at this point but I really wanted to get out riding with this so I figured after I got it installed I could try to clean it off. As I went to install it on the highway bar the clamp fit correctly but the bolt that holds it tight was too long and bottomed out before it tightened(see picture). At this point very frustrated I gave up this product is utterly unusable and while it looks good online it was an absolute waste of my time. I boxed it up and sent it back.

A good value product let down by poor chrome finish and fittings. Will do the job after some modification. Cheap and cheerful!

Poor quality, clamps are made from pot metal and broke on the first ride

Nice looking pegs -- WRONG sized clamps. Says for 1" bars, and even lists my model bike (c/w 1"bars...). So naturally they sent 1.5", and not even shims. Nor instructions. BS attention to detail and accuracy of Amazon posting. Not pleased.FOLLOW UP: Vendor contacted me same day as complaint, apologized nicely, and shipped me the right clamps overnight. Good save. Would be nice to see some instructions and some shims to help grip the highway bars; but if you are willing to dick around a little for now the quality and design of the pegs is otherwise quite nice. For their good intentions and better effort I raise the product from 2 stars to 4 stars with the above caveat.
