Phoenix Hair Straightener Brush with Heated Ceramic Anti Static Straightening Bristles and US Plug - (Pink)

I got this today and I was pleased enough with it to actually leave a review because I see that it doesn't have many. And I am pretty pleased with the brush. It's not perfect but for the price I paid, it's decent. I picked this product because it was the only brush straightener that I could use with damp hair at a very affordable price. I was pretty excited to get it and I was even more excited to use it. I should also note here that I went with the company's recommendation of using morocco aragan oil with it and also purchased a couple of bottles of the lightweight formula (just based on my hair type) since I planned to use the brush on damp hair.I have never used this sort of tool before and it isn't perfect by any means. There were some strands that it wouldn't straighten, mostly by my ears. I have very poor vision so I have to have my glasses on when I'm doing this sort of thing (hot tools, bad eyes, not a good combo) and the strands around my ear pieces I struggled to get straight and they still aren't but they're easy enough to hide. It took a bit to get it all completely dry but I sort of expected that and I'm going to say that if you want stick straight hair, then a flat iron is probably better suited for that. However, I still got really good results with the brush. It was very comfortable to use and I felt there was an added benefit of actually brushing my hair. My old wet-to-straight flat iron made me feel like I was cooking my hair and it was difficult to get the roots without scalding myself with steam. I didn't have that issue with this. I could get to the roots and it was pain free. That's a pretty decent bonus for me. My hair feels pretty healthy afterward as well and there is absolutely no frizz like I get when I choose to blow dry straight. My split ends aren't nearly as noticeable but I also used the aragan oil with it so that is probably a contributing factor. It took less than a minute for it to heat up completely but it was a bit of a challenge to clean out my shedded hair out of it afterward and I shed an ungodly amount when I brush my hair.Superior to a flat-iron? Not exactly. But it has it's bonuses over a flat-iron. Overall, I'm extremely happy with this purchase and if you're on the fence about buying this product, I had a good first experience with it and I think that once I get used to using it more, the results will be even better. You can't beat the price and it is a decent product for what you pay for it.So in conclusion, get some sort of heat protectant product to go with it if you're going to use it with damp hair. And if you condition your hair properly and run just a normal brush or comb through it before using, it's not gonna pull or snarl your hair.

Love it!! Heats up really fast, I feel that it doesn't damage my hair as much as the flat iron. Turns off by itself. I have fine curly hair and I needed something that could soften my curles without the damage I'm not a fan of the super ironed hair. With this brush I can soften my curls a little or flatten them some more, faster than sectioning my hair to iron it! A MUST HAVE!!
