Now You Can Thoroughly Dry Your CPAP Hose!
Recently I purchased The Hurricane CPAP Equipment Dryer. I am thrilled with this purchase. Although it is a little pricey, it is so worth it. I am FINALLY able to fully dry my CPAP hoses and other equipment. In 45 minutes, my hose is ready to use. I do not have to wait (and hope) for days that it dries over the towel bar in the bathroom! It is a really good size, approximately 12" in height, 12" in width, and 13" 1/2 in length, able to accommodate one hose, face mask, head piece and/ or some connections. No need to over pack the dryer since it works so well, I can dry any equipment I have washed in less than two hours. Yes, you still need to wash your equipment, but now I can dry and pack things away. It comes with a stainless-steel basket and a one-year warranty. The description states two drying ports, which is not correct- there is only one drying port. If you are like me, with two hoses, you just need to use it through two drying cycles. There are three timer settings. You can choose 15, 30, or 60 minutes. It is quiet, although it does take up some room on your counter. After drying my CPAP equipment, I put mine away in the box to keep it clean. I feel so confident now that all my CPAP equipment is completely dry after cleaning. The Hurricane CPAP Equipment Dryer is the best way to dry your CPAP Equipment!

The best (possibly the only) cpap equipment dryer on the market, and it works like a charm
This is a godsend. No more swinging 6' long hoses in a vain attempt to dry them; no more hanging hoses in hopes they will dry on their own. Included port inside unit makes it easy to plug the hose in firmly so the warm air circulates the entire length of the hose. Plenty of room for reservoir, lid, seal, and mask. Cpap equipment is dry when I need it; no more musty smell from being damp all day.

Better than the alternatives
Great product. Those who say it is unnecessary or even a scam have no clue what they are talking about. It is far superior to swinging the hose around your head, leaving it on a hanger to dry (for days) or trying to dry the gear by running the CPAP machine. Use the Hurricane and get nice clean and dry gear for your sleep.

Works great, makes drying easy, encourages me to clean/disinfect my gear more frequently
The Hurricane dryer works great. It can hold a 6' hose, humidifier chamber, and mask parts and dry them all at the same time, in 30 to 60 minutes depending on how wet they are. You don't have to remove the headgear from the mast. The heated air is warm but not hot, so it won't melt any delicate parts (headgear, nasal pillows). The machine shuts off on its own, so you can put your gear in the machine, start it, then go to work. It's fine to leave your items in the machine until bedtime. The machine isn't silent but it's definitely not what I'd call noisy. The noise is a constant hum. It doesn't bother me or my wife. This machine has made my weekly disinfecting routine easier. After disinfecting and rinsing, I used to let everything air-dry for 4-6 hours which never totally dried out the inside of the 6' hose or even the short hose at the end of the mask. So I would then attach everything to my cpap machine and let it blow dry air through everything to finish off the drying. Now, I just put everything in the Hurricane's basket, push a button, and walk away.I never used to do daily cleaning, too much of a pain. This machine won't do the cleaning, but it'll do the drying, and that's enough to make the daily routine worth doing. If I don't have time to do a full clean in the morning, I just put the 6' hose and humidifier chamber in the Hurricane to dry them out so I don't have to worry about bacteria growing in them during the daytime. In sum, I highly recommend this machine. It's not cheap, and my insurance didn't cover it. But it's convenient and it also encourages me to keep up with my recommended cleaning/disinfecting routine. I think it's worth it.

Does the job well
Overall:I'd purchase this item again. It's a little pricey, but does the job. No ozone, which puts it in a class of it's own without any competition. But you do have to wash your equipment as it only dries. Not sure how long it will last, but I've been using mine for just over 2 months now without any issue. Judging by the build quality and my prior experiences with fans that sound like this unit, I'd guess about 18 months of daily usage.Good:- All my ResMed AirSense 10 equipment fits within the machine for drying.- Is capable of completely drying all equipment, including the air tube.- Plug in for air tube seems to work well.- Gets warm, but not hot enough to harm your equipment.Marginal:- Takes a full 60 minutes to completely dry my equipment; not sure what it could possibly dry in 15 or 30 minute setting. Maybe in the winter when humidity drops it could do it in 30, not sure as I haven't had it through a winter yet.- Cheap looking ugly plastic; looks like something you had in the 1970's. But it seems durable enough.- Closing the lid makes a three loud bangs; light sleepers will be awake after you close it.Bad:- Nose level varies dramatically and could be very irritating to those who have sensitive hearing.- Takes up a decent amount of space. But I knew this before I purchased and had a spot in mind that works.- You do have to manually clean everything before placing in the unit as it only dries items.
