Makes great popcorn that tastes better than the packaged microwave varieties. We use a bit of oil, and a widely known brand of popcorn (both purchased from Amazon) and have been very pleased with the results. Easy clean-up in the dishwasher, and compacts for storage.

I have tried other "popcorn" bowls and was hesitant to buy yet another one but this is the best one by far! I love to pop plain popcorn (yes, I add butter and salt to it afterwards; i'm not a monster :) ) in the microwave and was looking for one that was bigger than the last version I purchased. I loved the idea of the collapsing bowl for space saving but at the same time I was worried about the sturdiness while it was expanded. This bowl has NOT disappointed AND it only leaves a few unpopped kernels when it's done. The other bowls would either burn the popcorn before it was all popped or leave more unpopped kernels than I cared for. OH, AND it's not scalding hot when you take it out of the microwave. I just keep finding things to love about this item!!! Don't hesitate! Buy it now!!!

LOVE IT ! I THINK EVERY KERNAL OF POPCORN POPPED. DIDN'T PUT BUT ABOUT A 1/4 CUP OF POPCORN IN BOWL. THE BOUW WAS FULL. WILL HAVE TO ADJUST THE AMOUNT OF POPCORN NECT TIME I USE IT. WORKS WELL IN MY MICROWAVE. THE POPCORN WAS VERY GOOD. I WOULD RECOMMEND IT. I WILL BE BUYING A FEW OF THESE FOR GIFTS.
