Headgear for Dreamwear Nasal Mask-headgear Only (Original Version) (Original Version)

I dig the Dreamwear mask but the headgear leaves a lot to be desired. It slips easily and the material seems to stretch out quickly. I often find myself waking up in the middle of the night to adjust it. The little extra top strap does nothing. This mask is much more comfortable than my Wisp headgear, but the strap sucks.

I bought this extra headgear in hopes of using it chin strap for my Philips Respironics DreamWear Nasal Mask Frame. Good decision! It comfortably keeps the the headgear from sliding up the back of my head. I place it over my chin and use the velcro tips to secure it to the original Dreamwear headgear. My mask has not come off since. I told a friend about it, he bought one and he too says he no longer experiences the headgear sliding up the back of his head. Philips Respironics should include two with every Dreamwear nasal mask!

I have been using the Philips Repironics nasal pillow mask and headgear now for 2 months. The straps on the headgear often slip and need to be adjusted through the night. I was hoping that with the "original" as in the photo that the problem would be resolved as it seems to have more of a "structured" frame on the sides of the back of the head instead of the current one that is all fabric. However, I received the newer model instead which I already have and like okay (which is why I gave at least 3 stars) but really wanted to give the original version a try. Sad that the correct item is not in the package even though the item number on the package matches the one in the description.Update:Apparently, I have the original and this is the original that was sent to me as well. The one pictured IS NOT the original and is the one that I thought I was purchasing. Very disappointed in the fact that they show a different piece than what they send.

After searching high and low foe a quiet, comfortable, well fitted, CPAP mask that allows me to read, with my glasses on, watch television, talk on the phone plus various other usual activities that we humans tend to preform at night, I FINALLY FOUND IT IN THE RESPIRONICS DREAMWEAR MASK. No kidding, this mask meets every qualification I could think of and some others as well. The hose coming out of the top is sheer genius. The air being routed through the soft flexible frame is worthy of a Nobel Prize in itself. If you lie on your side, no problem as the other side of the frame expands to make up for the slight loss of flow on the pillow side. I looked at the reviews and they were probably 95% 5 stars and one or two idiots that simply didn’t know how it’s to be used or just like to complain. I think the complete setup with all four nose pieces from small to extra wide was only 84.00. Best money I’ve spent since my engagement ring. If you are a CPAP or BiPAP patient, do yourself a huge favor and order the Dreamwear mask today. You’ll not be disappointed.

The system is a great idea. I love the cushions. Having the hose on top of the head is great. But the headgear won't stay put. It keeps sliding up to the top of my head and I spend all night repositioning it. I have tried chin straps and head bands to keep it from moving. No Luck. I have short hair, so I cant wear a ponytail to keep it in place. I even tried a smaller size.

I need the headgear, that is depicted in the item picture with an arrow that points to the strap on the back of your head and says "headgear." What I received was the frame, in a package with a sticker on it that says headgear... And apparently this item is not eligible for returns.

This is NOT the item shown in the picture. The picture shows the new wider strap with plastic arms, which is supposed to be a better version This is the original version that stretches out quickly. Not what I wanted. The mask outlasts the strap, I need the upgraded version

This is the only mask my husband has tried that he can comfortably sleep with. It fits snugly to his head and doesnt move when turning he can go from his back to his side without having to adjust it. The hose connects at the top of his head and swivels for easy movement. The hose around his face is made with a soft silicon so it is very comfortable to wear.

They sent the Philips original (which you can get for half the price from a different supplier) not what was pictured in the add. I was disappointed because it wasn't the same as the item reviewed by other buyers.

Works well. Quite a bit different than original head gear but easy to attach and comfortable to wear.

The product received is not what is advertised. The ‘customer service’ is non-existent. Do not buy if you’re looking for the arm type as you will receive the old one. Extremely disappointed.
