You can get a million cheap ones of these for $5, but they’re sharp and the twists on them are much wider. These ones have nice rounded ends, and the twists are smaller, so I think they hold my hair better.I have hip length hair and can hold my hair in a bun with *one* of these. Although three is better. My hair doesn’t move, they don’t hurt my head, and they twozzle in and out without pulling my hair or snagging.

I have seen these products all over, but I was afraid they wouldn't work in my waist-length hair. Whenever I use a hair tie, my hair always gets squished and the bun doesn't look cute! I only tried the pins with a high bun, but I think it will work just as well with a lower bun.Pros:- This comes with three, but you only need two! I was expecting to need all three, but two worked really well.- The bun survived spin class! It started to get loose a few hours later, most likely from bouncing around.- The pins are super easy to remove. They didn't get caught in my hair and make it knotty.Cons:- The middle of my bun started to pop up a little bit, but that's probably due to my hair length.- The pins sometimes hurt my fingers a little bit when I was putting them in, but I have sensitive hands.

I have thick, wavy hair to my shoulders and these are amazing. They screw in quickly and hold securely. I can use one for a half-up top knot, or two for a whole bun and they stay put all day.

Holds thick, heavy hair all day. Never gets loose or fall out. Highly recommend
