Play the Game: Hannaford Prep Year Three

Holy moley, SURPRISE, SURPRISE, the 'holy-heck' train just keeps on rolling. This book is abso-blooming-lutely, fan-frigging-tastic & I'm definitely in book love. Wow, just wow, the cougar, the dirty pills, the whispers & sly plans of the Jackal, if you add in Luca, The Crow & The Butcher all you need is a partridge in a pear tree, huh, sorry, gutter humor coming through. Is it March yet??? These characters are amazing, the storyline totally off the wall, all twisty, turny, dark & extremely hilarious in places. To the author, I bow down in awe at another masterpiece delivered, I wish I could see inside your head cos this sh...stuff you've written is devious, sneaky, delightful & delicious. I'm giving this book more than5stars, it's deserved accolades of admiration, appreciation & admiration, plus a Mexican wave, a standing ovation & ok, I'll throw in the partridge in a pear tree. Is it March yet?????

Quick review on this third installment of the best book series I have ever read. In this series we see the slow build of the relationship between Lips, Harley, Blaise and Ash. At the end of the second book the guys declare themselves and their interests in Lips. I LOVE that this third book sets a realistic pace. They don't just jump right into the smexy times. If you've read books one and two then you know some of these guys have some past behavior they need to make up for and to make this realistic there need to be a build of trust, even now that they have decided to start a relationship. I so appreciate that J. Bree gives time for us to see the guys prove themselves to Lips. I also love that the relationships with each guy are progressing at different speeds and on different timelines which adds to the realistic feel and keeps each guy separate and unique. While it's a slow build at the beginning we get to some super HOT smexy times in this book and the timing feels perfect. It's hot, it's beautiful, it's not just sex for the sake of sex, it's relationship growth at its finest and you can see how these relationships are playing a role in shaping Lips and helping her meld with her Wolf persona.This book contains quite a bit of action and build and we get much deeper into Lips life and world as the Wolf. We start to see Lips and the Wolf meld into one new person that encompasses the best of both and we get to see how the guys will really react to that world that she is a major player in. We also get the introduction to Illi in this book who J. Bree just created a new series about. You're gonna love Illi. This series, although it technically takes place after "The Butcher" in terms of timeline is such a great introduction to Illi and his brotherly relationship with Lips.The friendship between Lips and Avery remains a central theme (I heart these two ladies so hard). One of my favorite quotes from this book:Harley scoffs and whispers in my ear, "Stop looking at her like you want to f*** her, you'll give us a complex." I quirk an eyebrow at him. "If we both swung that way, we'd be F'ing married by now. I would have wifed her @$$ last year." He roars with laughter.I sure hope you have started this series. If you haven't, I'm not sure what else I need to tell you to convince you. ;)

OMG!! I. AM. SPEECHLESS.I think this was my favorite of the 3 books so far. Each book in this series has hooked me and ruined me for other books. LoL! Each time I have finished one I find myself with the worst book hangover EVER. So what do I do?! Well, I just keep reading them over and over.I Love Lips. But man, when she is the Wolf, She is a totall Bad A$$. And I am so happy that she is merging those personalities, and we got to see even more of her Wolf side in this book.The guys.. Ash, Blaise and Harley. They have so much chemistry, and these books are such a fluid read. The whole thing just plays like a movie in my head while I am reading. I already said it, but I cant get enough.This book is action packed and swoon worthy!! J Bree you are amazing and I hope you keep the Hannaford Prep books coming. I dont ever want them to end.

his book. Wow. It has everything and then some. Lips and her best friend Avery are stronger than ever and kicking butt. Their bond is as thick as thieves and it’s what every girl should want in a best friend. Lips’ boyfriends are just as dreamy and unforgettable as always. Harley is the sweet boy who is so sweet and gentle. But crazy and Irish is hiding. Blaise and her share so many *swoon worthy* moments it’s adorable. And then there’s ash. He’s straight up a cocky jerk and then he softens and your heart melts. Lets talk about her foster brother Illi. Yes, he just enhanced this story leaps and bounds. The butcher is the bay. When you don’t think this book can get any more intense, better, crazier, more mind blowing, it does. And the cliff hanger. The characters get so much growth and development this may be my new favorite book over all. Can’t wait to dive into the fourth :)

So, I want to say this first...I still love this story and the characters. The only issue I have is editing. There were some mistakes in the first two books, but I enjoyed them so much it didn't really bother me. I know the language is a little different...I recognize the Australian terms and spelling. That isn't the issue."...keep MY safe.""Once I'm dressed again, I LEAN ON THE I TEXT ILLI for backup because the thought of leaving Harley without someone to watch his back gives me hives.""...we're about THE walk into."I won't list them all, because there are A LOT.There are so many mistakes like this and it absolutely kills me. I'm definitely going to finish the series, but I'm not sure I'll read any other books from this author in the future unless they're edited properly. I just get too tripped up and then I stop focusing on the story. It drives me insane. Anywho! Other than that I'm so freaking stoked to read the next book. I NEED to know what happens.

I don't want to reveal any spoilers and it's hard to review just how good this is without doing that but if you've read the first two books then you already know how great this series is! Play the Game doesn't disappoint. Now that the guys know who Lips is this book doesn't have any of those moments where the reader can feel smug that we know how much damage she can do to those who cross her and they don't but it has many more intimate scenes which makes up for this. There are some great additions to the team and warm fuzzy feelings all around! Of course these don't stop Lips from being a bad-ass and she's one of the best FMCs in this genre.As soon as i finished the second book i couldn't wait to read the third and now I've finished the third I need to read the fourth and it's killing me that it's not out for another few months! J Bree kindly brought this release forward by 2 weeks so maybe she'll put us out of our misery and bring the next one forward too!

This booked had me hooked from the get go and I can’t help but keep going back to it. Honestly one of my all time favourite series and if you haven’t already read it then go rectify that ASAP!

This the 3rd book and I loved the drama although I really want them to start dealing with some of these dramas soon lol next book bought can't wait to start it

Lips and the boys are back again and I’m in love! Action packed and full of twists to keep you on your toes. I love the dynamic between Lips and Avery too, them girls are badass. Cliffhanger at the end which leaves you screaming for more!Cannot wait for the next instalment, hats off to you J. Bree for another incredible book ❤️

OMG just when you think things can't get any more intense they do....I just love this series and the characters. Its such a mix of anxiety, laughter and heart jerking moments.
