I've used hair growth pills from around 7 brands This brand get the 7th place My advice go get any hair growth pills in half price with similar or better results Disappointed!

Hair supplement Without Biotin and having Maltodextrin is not a good option and not reasonable for the price.

Frankly, most of these reviews make me feel sad. People find this DHT blocker works some for them, which is great. But they overwhelmingly seem to think this is the only thing they need to do, or if they do something else, it's near useless stuff like peppermint oil. Folks, please, if you are serious about returning your hair to it's maximum thickness, you must, must, must use Minoxidil every single day, twice a day if you are super serious about it. I'm a woman who had such severe thinning that I refused to allow any pictures to be taken of me, so I can't show you how bad it was. I've researched and tried everything with any credible science behind it. What works is Minoxidil as often and heavily as you can. This DHT blocker is also extremely helpful. Nutrafol is also helpful. Caffeine shampoos are slightly helpful. Don't waste your money on anything else. Dermastamps and dermarollers break your hair and can cause scarring, so just stop that nonsense.

This is my second purchase and I absolutely like this product. After finishing one bottle, I start noticing number of hairs fallen decreased significantly, although the new hair growth is not obvious yet. I will continue to finish the second bottle to monitor the full effect. It was delivered super fast by local post service and the product came in good condition and the box was not dented too. Expired date is one year from the date of purchase.

This product is horrid! I used it for just 1.5 months and I’ve lost all the hair growth that I’ve gained in the past 1 year. Everyday while I was taking the supplements, I lose over 100 strands of hair as compared to less than 20 prior. Not even worried abt the money but I’m so upset abt my hair!!

My 100% Honest Review with Total Transparency- I bought this when I noticed my hair was starting to fall out in extraordinary amounts. I remember when it began Jan 28, and I’m talking bags and bags of hair that have falling. Ever seen the movie, The Craft? Remember when the popular blonde girl was being so mean to one of the girls in the coven and she puts a spell that makes all the blonde girls hair fall out. After their swim meet, in the locker room the girl from the coven finds the blonde girl sitting in the shower sobbing... She’s 90% bald. While touching her falling hair she says to the witch, “It just keeps falling out!” Okay, my situation isn’t That bad, but that’s how I felt, since it has been falling out in clumps, every time I wash it, when it never had before. Like most, I made things worse by going online looking for probable causes, which only made me more stressed out, but my dermatologist appt. was two weeks away, and I couldn't just wait around without trying to do Something about it. The thing about hair loss is that there are a number is reasons causing it to fall... So, I jumped the gun before a diagnosis. C’mon guys, I’m only human! So, know that’s NOT why I’m writing this..... They recommend taking 4 per day, which I couldn’t do. They were hard on MY tummy w/o food. I dry heaved a couple times immediately after taking two in the morning w/o food, but I PERSONALLY have a sensitive stomach, and because of my situation, my stomach was already in knots regardless. After eating in the afternoon I’d take two and I’d try to take one more at night as well- and my tummy didn’t hurt. Then I saw my doctor... she prescribed me Spironolactone, (a diuretic for high blood pressure that also helps hair loss by fighting androgens). Which I assumed would work immediately. It actually can take up to 3-6 months to start working, and that’s only IF your hair is falling out due to DHT and/or Androgenic Alopecia, but my doctor says that mine is falling due to some serious emotional stress that lasted several months a couple months ago. I asked her if I should continue taking the supplements and she said that although it wouldn’t hurt, if I was struggling to take the recommended dosage (4 pd), then I probably shouldn’t, since it most likely won’t help my personal situation. She said, “You can take as many supplements as you want and your hair will still fall because you’re too stressed out.” She suggested meditation, 20 minutes of daily sun exposure (since I’m D3 deficient) and she urged me to eliminate refined sugars processed foods from my diet, and drink plenty of organic homemade bone broth. So, I can’t say that Advanced Trichology DHT Blocker works, but not because it isn’t a quality supplement, but because My hair loss isn’t due to high levels of DHT, and since my tummy is extra sensitive right from from stress, it’s unable to tolerate supplements. I believe that this is a quality supplement. Its highly recommended by many both on and off Amazon. So, I’d say it’s definitely worth trying, especially if your hair loss is DHT related. However, I advise getting bloodwork done first and a diagnosis prior to taking anything, especially since supplementing can deliver inaccurate lab results, especially if you don’t tell your doctor exactly what you’re taking. It’s crazy to think how far science has come... couples can decide what color eyes they want their child to have, through genetic modification. If you have $5,000, you can permanently change your eye color from brown to blue or from brown to green through a non-invasive 30 second procedure that’s similar to Lasik eye surgery, and yet science still hasn’t been able to cure hair loss! Until then, I’m grateful for company’s like Advanced Trichology for providing us with much needed hope.

** 30 day update below. **47 day update at bottom **60 day (3/14/23) at bottom. Hairloss is stressful, scary, and heartbreaking so I wanted to provide an early review so others, like myself, can have a bit of a sigh of relief. If you are like me spending hours reading through reviews to see WHEN we can see some type of goodness, then continue reading. I'm on day 14 of Dht blocker and folligrow, and day 4 of the serum. It's too soon for any growth update, but the shedding has drastically reduced. I take them as directed minus with food in the morning as im not hungry at 7am. 15 days ago, my shower drain would be hair clogged within minutes of getting in the shower, now the hair in the drain is about a quarter of what it was. 15 days ago I would brush my hair or run my fingers through it and I would hair hair covering my shirt, the floor, counters, brush/hands, everything. Today, only a few hairs in the brush. I'm very hopeful this product will help. My only issue so far is that if I do take the pills in the evening (5pm or later) I notice I can't fall asleep. I do not drink anything with caffeine in it after 10am anymore so I know it's nothing I'm drinking causing this and the only thing new are these pills. I am currently experimenting with the times I take the second set. I have recently tested my thyroid and found it's very underactive again which is likely causing my hair loss (plus perimenopause). I will keep taking these along with the two other products and update this review at the 30 or 45 day mark. I hope this review helps others looking for signs of hope. I wish more people would leave longer detailed reviews on things like this. 30 days: technically 29 but nothing major will happen overnight LOL I stopped the serum for now because of two things- it's winter and it's super dry in my house so I don't want to wash my hair everyday and have to blow dry it. Kind of defeats the purpose of what I'm doing, and I started red and nir light therapy around day 17. It looks like my wispy short hairs (either breakage or new from before starting this) are getting longer. Shedding is unbelievably less than ever. Like it's been YEARS since I've experienced "normal" shedding. LOL I just woke up and I'm a crazy sleeper. I took my sad, thin little braid out and brushed my hair and there were zero hairs on my shirt and a couple in the brush. My skin looks nicer. Haven't gotten my normal hormonal cystic acne this month but do have a few tzone breakouts - which I normally don't get. I woke up to a lot of dandruff/skin turnover this morning but it could be because I skipped my dandruff shampoo this week. While my hair is not shedding as stated above, my period this time around lasted 12 days. Mostly spotting but I had to do AM pills only for a week in order for the spotting to stop (foligrow and dht blockers). Idk which one caused the extended bleeding if either of them did. I've also noticed that these seem to constipate me a bit. I thought I just had to get used to them but when I lowered the dose my BMs were more frequent again. Now I'm back too tiny to no BMs, then clogged, then a full day or two of stomach aches and bathroom runs. Sigh. I have another period coming up this week. If I bleed longer again, I will have to cut back both and hope it doesn't mess up my progress. My hair does seem fuller (to me) and is growing in length quicker it seems. I honestly don't think I see new growth, but I do have hairs ranging from a quarter inch to half inch all over the top of my head. I feel these may just be breakage hairs growing out? I would think any NEW growth would be just starting to pop out now or soon. **60 days Stopped dht blocker a few days ago due to excessive bleeding. I'm still taking the foligrow vitamins and I'm hoping it's enough to keep the hair growth. Within the last week I've really noticed a ton of 1cm hairs all over my head. I uploaded a photo of my part and I feel like there's a pretty decent difference in the two. My hair feels thicker and looks fuller. Fingers crossed the vitamins are enough to keep the growth going.
