I love Kutoa's HealthBars
I love this company. I tried all of their bars, and they are all great.I found them on Amazon and being able to get a monthly order hasbeen wonderful. The bars taste great. What more can I say. I amnot a vegan, but most bars make me sick for other reasons, so I havelearned to eat vegan bars, and these are the best.

Afternoon Energy Infusion
I buy these for my husband to take to work for a mid-afternoon healthy snack, and he loves them! He says they always provide a jolt of energy. They're a bit pricey, but he raves about them. The only problem is that they're not always in stock.

taste decent and have a nice texture, but have 16 grams of sugar per bar
These are OK but nothing special for me (I have tried a lot of bars lately and I am getting pickier). They basically taste like date bars with oat flour in them, and I note that oats and date paste are the first two ingredients. I sort of get a peanut butter flavor out of this, but it is not predominant. And while there is a generic fruitiness, it doesn't remind me of jelly. I honestly wouldn't have known there were cherries in this if I hadn't read the ingredients label. These have 4 grams of fiber and 6 grams of protein, and that's not bad. But oh, my goodness, they have 16 grams of sugar. Per bar. That is an awful lot, and it is what kills these as a health food for me. Some of the sugar is natural sugar from the fruits but there is a lot of added sugar as well (in the brown rice syrup and agave syrup). These syrups may not count as refined sugar, but they are still *added* sugar.I do like the texture. I think the pea protein crisps actually add to it, without detracting from the flavor. And I think the oats make it softer and less sticky than a typical date bar would be.These are suitable for a variety of specialized diets (they are gluten- and soy-free, vegan, and non-GMO). Of course they do have peanuts so avoid if you have that allergy. You can see the full ingredients list, allergy warnings, and nutrition facts panels if you zoom in on the product images. I would say these were all right as an occasional snack in an otherwise healthy diet, but they have too much sugar to be an everyday food.

Good for you, good taste, and good for another
First off, it says "No refined sugar", not no sugar or low sugar. So 1 star person read the label.Secondly, while the sugar is a little high, it supports the label of no refined sugar.Thirdly, I found this particular flavor to be tasty and light, perfect for a pre run snack. It may not be for everyone but I feel that there are micro nutrients that benefit your health AND for every bar purchased another child is fed. So that's cool. Give them a whirl and enjoy doing good for you and another.
