borgward Isabella
I purchased this for my Dad as he has three Borgward Isabella's and though they were a great car of the era. The book has lots of info about the different cars and my dad really enjoyed the book. Anybody who likes this classic of the 1950's and 1960's will take them back to a different era of cars.

Fabulous collection of old Borgward Isabella road tests.
The Brooklands series of road test reprints (compiled by R.M. Clarke) bring together vintage road tests printed in period magazines for a certain car. This one is a collection of Borgward road tests from magazines including Motor Trend, Road & Track, Autocar, Auto Age, Motor Sport, Motor Life, Car and Driver, Wheels, and others. Brookland's Limited Editions are printed in runs of less than 1000 units. Borgward was a West German automaker that went out of business in the early 1960s. The Isabella is very well remembered as a fine car in its day, and the classic road tests in this volume seem to bear that out...Motor Trend's cross-country adventure, including setting a speed record at Bonneville, is a great read! It would be incredibly difficult to collect all the magazines these tests originally appeared in, so if you are interested in reading about the Borgward Isabella, this book is an excellent addition to your library.
