They work very well to repel birds, ducks and chickens

I have purchased these and the larger one also. Many complain the head doesn't move well and gets stuck backwards. Once I filled the body with sand they worked better plus I glued a nickel inside the head below the beak and now the head moves better and looks forward. These are nice and we now have no returning Woodpeckers!

Didn't work for the territorial bird attacking his reflection in the window. Bird has been attacking window for several days, I put the "owl" out in early morning today and it had no effect on birds behavior. Owl is the size of a small owl, it makes decent decoration, and may work in some cases, but not mine.

A Gila Woodpecker lives in a tall palm tree across the cul-de-sac from us, and every morning at about 7am he would fly over to our metal roof and drum loudly several times, supposedly to mark his territory! I had tried several remedies to drive him away, to no avail. Finally I decided to try the fake owl theory and ordered this 3-owl package. On the morning after I received them, all the birds were singing loudly, so I mounted 2 of the 3 as shown in the picture. After I finished the project, there was not so much as a peep for the rest of the day! It has been several weeks now, and the birds have resumed their singing, but not from our roof. The woodpecker squawks his awful sound from other points around the neighborhood, but not even once from our roof! The grackles don’t care, they just stomp around for a few seconds and then leave, but none of the other birds touch our roof. I have turned from a skeptic into a true believer! I will be interested in the long-term effectiveness, but for now silence is golden!

Bought these to keep birds off my patio area. They love my bottle brush flowers but I don’t like the mess they leave everywhere. So far keeping birds away, they are light weight so may need to add rocks or sand if they get blown over.

They are well-made and realistic but they do not phase the crows at all. Receiving service was great.

They look great, but do not work. Poor design and execution! Fortunately, I can correct the design flaw and make them work. But shouldnt have to! So dont waste your money! ***UPDATE*** The seller reached out and realizing there was a problem, offered a complete refund and is looking into the problem! Trustworthy and reputable seller. I would not hesitate to buy from them again! For this reason, even though the product I received is defective, I am upgrading to 4 stars!
