After 60 years of camping, this set is my favorite.
We are slowly replacing the granite ware pots in our Scout troop patrol boxes. This is the third set we have purchased because everyone has loved them so much. The bail handle allows you to lift the pot without a potholder (if you remember to put it up before you start cooking). The bail on each pot also has a hole so it can be suspended over a campfire. You probably could cook over moderately hot campfire coals. Use a thin coat of liquid dish soap over the bottom of the pan and halfway up the (out)side to make cleanup easier. Personally, I prefer cast iron over a campfire. The pots easily nest together in their zippered storage bag. The lids have a small flat handle over an indentation. This makes it a challenge for using a potholder, but I have found that I can usually lift the lid without burning my two fingers. You can also slip a fork under the lid to lift it. This is a fair trade off for having a lid for each pot and a small storage profile. The largest pot is big enough to cook a pack of spaghetti. We also use them as mixing bowls. Spray with “Pam,” scramble the eggs in the pot and “voilà!” less dishes to wash. We also gave up on our coffee pot and use the largest pot to heat water in the morning for instant coffee and hot chocolate. These are not heavy duty pots, but they have held up well for Scout use and we have no dents after two years of use on our first set. One of our propane stoves has only two heat choices; “Burn everything” and “Melt.” This resulted in scorch marks inside a pan used to cook oatmeal (made with milk). They lightened some after a good scrub with “Bar Keepers Friend.” It has not affected their performance. In Scouting, we call this an “experienced” pot. Using a “flame tamer” helps If your stove is like ours. It has not been a problem cooking foods like stew or scrambled eggs as long as the Scout doesn’t get distracted and forget they are cooking.

PERFECT Nigerian Goat milk Pails! No seams
Finally! Like then much better than my old pail. The handles fold completely down and out of the way vs my older $65 pail. It has higher tabs that are thin and get in the way. Same volume on both! This set’s largest pan is the same volume, almost the same weight (one ounce lighter), BUT is 5 3/8” high vs older pail’s 6” (not including the darn tabs). So excited!

Quality could be better
Quality isn’t that good stainless steel in and one of the lid handles the spot welds that held the handle on were broken when I unpacked it I guess it’s relative to how much you spend
