Even if you have the right part it may not solve your problem !
I had a low beam problem on my Chevy S-10 2001 Pickup. No low beams. After checking out the fuses and relays we found the in column switch to be the likely problem.After installation the low beams worked but one light was low out put. Rechecked the grounds found a loose one and that helped but still not completely. After checking the under dash wiring also found some melted wires and another loose ground ( sins of past repairs). Fixing this under dash problem which seemed to sole the low beam and under powered problem. So even though you replaced the part that failed your still need to check all the peripheral possible causes. Use your volt meter its your best friend .
