Keith Among the Pigeons (Child's Play Library)

I bought this book for my two year old son and he loves the pictures of Keith the cat and the pigeons. It relates to so much that is of interest in his world: pigeons, cats, trees and chips! The older he gets the more he will understand the deeper message in the book but I think it has already instigated an interest in dressing up! The text is funny and the illustrations and characters’ expressions are well observed, funny and so unique.

A wonderful children's book with a great message! I love the style of the illustrations and the world Katie Brosnan creates. Keith is such a great character!

This book is both funny and profound and will show you (and the little ones) what true belonging really is about. Katie Brosnan's illustrations are bold, fresh and playful. I think most people will be have felt like Keith (the cat) at some point in their lives, not to only want to fit in, but to also belong, which makes the message of the book even more important.

My Girlfriend and I read this last night at bedtime with her 6yo Girl. We laughed all the way though it and really enjoyed it. The Illustrations were fun and there were puns for the Adults along with the main work aimed at children. A nice, well drawn children's book with a moral, delivered in a way that children and adults enjoy. After reading it, I have purchased a second copy for the Primary School Library.

My 2 year old daughter and I love curling up with this wonderful story. The illustrations are beautiful and you find more and more detail everytime you read it. The story itself has such an important message about accepting who you are. I thoroughly recommend it.

I absolutely loved this book. The illustrations are fabulous and there are some delightful details. Keith is such a lovely character. A firm favourite. Looking forward to more from this illustrator.

Fantastic children's book with beautiful illustrations. We read this to our 1 year old and the story, pictures and colours kept him engaged throughout. Would recommend for any child who loves books.
