Medium. I'm 6', 175 and I bought the large (it's a little short on me, but not scandalously so)

I wear a size 22. I am 5’11 and pear shaped. I ordered a 3x and it is entirely too small. I ordered 2 dresses and the 3x fits a size 18 which is what my sister wears. She got both dresses from me.

I think a small could fit how you describe .. I purchased a medium 5’5 155 and am pregnant little belly- mine fit comfortably not tight and material is stretchy

I would be comfy and go for a medium actually. The material is a decent weight but might be too clingy...unless that is what you want...it is not generously cut, but well made...so if you like a close fit, small...but consider that it might also shrink a little when washed. I hope this helps. By the way, I do really like it and will get another...good buy.
