Really good seasoning product for getting an original touch for pilau rice. I have also added it to the microwave rice sachets when in a hurry

i love this stuff though its not like the yellow pilau rice from takeaways etc, i still fry some diced onion in ghee and oil add a bay leaf or 2, bit of a cinnamon stick maybe some cardamon seeds cumin seeds and pre wash and soak my rice in turmeric and add that and a teaspoon of this mix to half a cup, 1 and half teaspoons to a cup of rice and its lovely. It is very salty though so be careful on overdoing it think 35% of it is salt. When i first used it i msg and salted the onion and added a salty chicken stock, this + the mix was far too salty so had to dial it back.

I've used this and store it the rest of my Curry Spices. I finely chop an onion and add this spice reduce heat after 10 seconds and add the pressure cooked rice, mix well and ready to use. However if you look at all the ingredients you can can easily make your own mix, might just have to experiment with quantities of spices, but adjust to your own likings. For me I always add fresh chopped Coriander as a final touch. Depending on what I'm making with the rice.. Enjoy everyone.

There are no directions on the packaging for how to use this, so I’ve just been adding a teaspoon of seasoning for each cup of rice in the cooker, which seems to work well. Very tasty, and zero effort.

Very economical pack. Should last me a life time.
