Instant Park and Beach Sun Shelter Apple Green

I had the chance to set this up this past weekend. As we are in the middle of a heatwave, some friends and I headed to the beach. Not wanting to BBQ ourselves the whole time, we brought along a number of canopies and this sun shelter. I was kind of skeptical at first due to the negative reviews but it was a good price and had prime so it would arrive quickly, I took a leap of faith.This tent was very easy to setup up, only took one person what seemed like a few minutes. Tear down was also pretty painless. The move able side panel is kind of useful to block out the sun in the afternoon if you wanted to get some shut eye away from the sun, we actually found ourselves using it depending on where the sun was during the day.To address some of the other negative comments on this product. The dimensions seemed accurate and it was large enough for 2 adults and some kids. The materials of the tent was actually pretty good quality. I was expecting some cheap plastic because you always assume the worse but turns out the Nylon material and the fiberglass frame looks and feels really durable.Overall, I'm pretty satisfied with this purchase and will likely be taking it on multiple beach trips in the future.

Great buy! So glad I ordered this tent. My family was coming out for a visit, and since we live near a beach, I wanted a tent they could sit and relax out of the sun in. It folds up really nice and has it's own carry sleeve. Since we were driving them around in a car, there wasn't going to be a lot of room for things, but it fit neatly into the trunk. It's simple to set and take down. It was smaller than expected, but it did fit 2 adults nicely with room for bags, towels and a cooler. My husband took a nap in it while we walked the beach and he was very impressed with it. We are already planning to use it for other outtings!

Love this tent. It's very easy to set up and take down. Only takes few seconds. The tent is taller than other beach tents on the market. I can put 2-3 chairs in the tent and still get a good shade. Great quality, sturdy, and light weight. I especially like the removable side panel, so I could block the afternoon sun light. Great product!! Will recommend this product to my friends.

Dimensions are not correct. Pictures are deceiving. This tent was purchased for 2 adults to sit in low beach chairs for sun protection. Good quality, easy set up but not comfortable for 2 adults in chairs. If you prefer some space between the chairs and space above your head this is not the tent.

Works well as long as there is low to no wind.

LOVE it! Super easy to set up and take down. Stores in a very compact way. Kids absolutely adore it. Bought it as a Father's Day present for my hubby so we can all enjoy the backyard more. I don't know why we haven't had one for years. It is already a staple in our backyard and when we are at the lake. We have also used it downstairs when raining and made a fort for the kids to watch a movie in. Terrific value here!

Bought this in hopes of using it to provide some shade while watching kids outdoor sports tournaments. This sun shade is much shorter than expected (at best it could accommodate a single person in a very low slung chair) and the single support pole extending over the front creates very limited viewing angles out the front opening. I now see that other designs offer double support poles to create a wider opening along the top with better side viewing angles. Unfortunately, this will not meet our intended use and we are past the return window. Not happy to be stuck with something that will never be used.
