We purchased these to cut down on eating out. They have worked perfectly! Yes, they are difficult to open, but if you are gentle and use even a little bit of patience, they will pop right open. We have found them to be ideal for our pre-made lunches. They WILL break if you try to pop them open in 2 seconds, but if you take your time over say..5 seconds, you can get them open without breaking them, no problem. Those with bad reviews should probably just learn a little patience.

The size of the containers are perfect! When I received the meal containers I tested them by putting water in on part. Sealed the lid and tilted it upside down and shook it, absolutely no leaking!! Not many products of tried actually don't leak between the separate compartments. This one does!! When you prep meals this is so important. I had received this and three were chipped on the bottom corners. They company's customer service was on point!! They didn't even flinch and set me a whole new set!! Impressive customer service!!! I will always by these from this seller from now on. My go to containers. Very happy with this purchase both product and customer service!

We've had these for about 4 months and have had few issues. However, a few of them have cracked right in the middle and I can never seem to figure out what causes it to crack. It doesn't crack while we're opening them, so the only other options are while they're in the fridge or while they're in the dishwasher. The cracked ones still work just fine, but we're very careful with them. Also, there's some issues recently with them not coming as clean as they should in the dishwasher, but that might just be our dishwasher having issues.

My wife and I decided we were going to try out planning our meals in order to cut costs on eating out and try and learn portion control. I am very pleased with this product. They are big enough to be able to take a chicken breast, decent portion of rice and a decent portion of veggies or other options of your choosing as well. All while being compact enough to stick in a small lunch box or purse. I have no concern about the lids falling off, which is awesome if you plan on throwing them in your backpack. However that is the reason I only gave 4 stars. They can be VERY difficult to take off at first. After using them a few times we have gotten them a bit less stiff, but do be aware of that. We like to freeze some of our meals for the later half of the week and after taking them out of the freezer they do tend to feel extra brittle, but we have not experienced any cracking or breaking on any of the boxes.Overall, solid product, they work for exactly what you need them for and even though technically we are eating less than what we typically would its still large enough to make you feel full!

Don't bother buying these meal prep containers. I purchased these for my wife since she prepares lunches for the week for our family. I like that they divide the food into three different groupings. However, taking the lids off the containers is tricky and you can VERY EASILY break the plastic of either the lid or container.We bought a set of 14 and now we are down to 8 after about a month of use since they break so easily. We are careful when handling them and are not freezing the containers. Yet, they break merely by taking the lid off. I would not have purchased these if given the chance again.

I have always heard that when you want to lose weight its always "20% of the change happens by going to the gym and the other 80% happens by changing your eating patterns". Over the course of the past few months I have taken a strong initiative in changing my lifestyle and these containers are by far one of the best things for diet convenience. I usually by club pack of Wegman's chicken and cook for that for the week and one serving size fits perfectly in the containers, then I can fit the right amount of rice, broccoli, carrots, or whatever I want to pair with my meal into the two side compartments. These meal prep containers are great in their design for someone who is looking to change their lifestyle and eat the right amount of food, and to add to that I like that they are BPA free so that no plastic leaks into my food! Great Product!This company really cares about their customers, they are constantly looking to inform me of healthy additions to meals and following up to make sure the product I bought lives up to my expectations!

These are just awesome. Love the portion sections. I will buy again once I need new ones. All the people writing negatively about the items breaking on them, you have to treat with care. These are HUGE plates (way bigger than I expected), the dimensions of the plates are about 11 inches long 10 inches wide and 1 inch tall give or take, and the plastic is not as thick as a Rubbermaid product. Is the product durable? Yes! Microwave safe? I have used on food that has stayed overnight in the fridge, put in Microwave for 2.5 mins and no issue at all (in microwave without lid). Have used consistently for a little over a week and no issues at all. Extremely pleased with this purchase.Pros-These are just great all around-Durable-Thick Plastic (Just under those Rubbermaid Products with a red/green lid)-Portions are just greatCons (if I have to say something)-Need to be patient when opening these since the are a tight fight-Huge platesAnd these cons are not actually cons just more of a preference really

They arrived faster than expected, but when I was taking them apart one of the containers snapped in half for some odd reason. All the others were fine, but on the plus side I emailed the company and they sent me an entire new stack for free!! So overall these are great. I meal prepped this past week and they worked well, I froze some and they stayed fresh, I microwaved them and it didn't have an ill effects. I also used our dishwasher on them and they came out great! Definitely would buy from this company again! :)
