Nut-free, crunchy cereal and snack
These Kashi Go vegan protein nuggets are tiny, hard, and crunchy. It is terrific to find a nut-free and allergy safe cereal. It's great by the handfuk like a granola. You can pair it with a banana and yogurt and make a light and filling breakfast. We will make this a staple in our home.

Great as cereal or for making muffins
One of three cereals that wifey mixes together to create her custom blend. I like it straight out of the box as a snack, or for breakfast with milk. I also developed a muffin using it and I get rave reviews on the muffins.

Used to be a 5-star product, but new recipe is awful
Kashi Go Crunch (Original) WAS my breakfast meal for 20 years. I could survive the apocalypse on it. But alas, no more. Kellogg’s (the owner of the brand) apparently wants to target this to kids now. Without changing the SKU or the packaging, they slipped in the innocuous four words, “Now with more cinnamon”. But it is now a completely different product with a different taste and lower nutritional value than the original, even though the box is identical except for those four words. The “original” flavor is discontinued even though you can see it advertised on Amazon and other online stores. Don’t be fooled - you will get the new extra cinnamon version regardless of the product image displayed. Not only does it have WAY too much cinnamon (overpowering in my experience), the cereal now also contains more added sugar, less protein, and less fiber. So it is not only inedible and tastes disgusting, it is no longer the healthy food it was. You could argue this is deceptive marketing, and I have, but I have cried too many tears over this food branding disaster. If you hanker for Kashi, the Chocolate Crunch (believe it or not) tastes better, has less added sugar, and is higher in protein and dietary fiber. Let’s hope they don’t turn around and adulterate that now.
