Very nice knife, very sharp knife
I was able to pick this up on Black Friday sale and it has exceeded my expectations. Mine was received without any damage and in a new sealed box. The price appears to be so low on this knife due to the company no longer being in business. So don't count on any warranty issues being solved, but for this low price you can just buy a spare.

Very Nice Knife!
Bought this on a sale day and it is an excellent knife. Handles well, very sharp and comfortable to grip. Like the length and is not heavy considering the length. Very happy with it!

4 years of service with no issues.
4 years of service and no issues! razor sharp, great balance, and easy to handle. No it's not as good as the $400 professional Japanese knives, but if you're just someone who wants cooking to be a little more fun, easy, and SAFE, then this is an excellent choice for a do-it-all chefs knife.

The Damascus is for looks, the VG10 core is what gives this value.
I use 2 of the 3 every day.VG10 is premium Japanese steel (or a decent knockoff) and harder than average but still needs maintenance:"honing on a ceramic rod should be a frequent thing you do before using a stone to sharpen an edge. Honing helps to maintain a sharp edge however with VG10 blades, you will need to use a ceramic sharpening rod and not a steel one.Whetstone - A whetstone should be your primary method for sharpening a VG10 blade and this technique alone will be enough to get you a nice sharp edge with any of the other tools or techniques that we’ll mention.A good combination for a VG10 knife is a 400/1000 grit whetstone which will give you a coarse side needed to form a burr and a finer coarse level to refine and sharpen the edge."( santokuknives how-to-correctly-sharpen-vg10-japanese-blades )

A little heavy
Beautiful blade. Very sharp. Seems to be very good quality. I have small hands so it is a little heavy for me. I was not expecting it to be very light especially for that length blade… i just figured i would have to adjust a little 🤷♀️

tiny nicks / chips in the blade after a year of use - see picture
The review is for the 3pc set. The knives have served us well over the last year but as I was sharpening them lately, I notice both of the larger knives with tiny nicks on the blade edge and there is no way to contact the company, their support website does not load. Not sure if they came that way or if it has happened over time. We are not hard on the knives and use for normal home kitchen duties - cutting meats and veggies. Dinging them to one stars because of the nicks and no support. Also, could be my sharpening skills but seems like the edge sharpness does not hold like it did when new. The VG10 steel may be the culprit or at least the quality of steel enowo uses. Lots of good options out there at this price so be aware of these potential issues.
