Not For Me
This unfortunately did not work for my light brown skin. I used a very good Kabuki brush and applied to fresh, clean skin and it looked like I applied cornstarch to my face. There was a very prominent white cast and it exposed fine lines I didn't even know existed. Immediate wash and return for me.

Excellent powder for fair skin tones
This mineral powder is a perfect shade for my very fair skin tone. This powder also doesn’t seem to oxidize the way some mineral powders do. I feel like my skin has this lit from within type glow every time I wear this. It’s a new fave for sure.

Beautiful packaging - full coverage
The packaging is really pretty but does require some hand strength to twist it open. It clicks tight to seal and it has an inner twist top that also ensures that powder stays locked into place. I wanted a powder with spf to put over my daily sunscreen. I personally think it's more of a full coverage than a medium coverage. There was no white cast to it even with the zinc oxide as the 2nd ingredient and the spf 15. I was able to do a light brushing of it over my regular sunscreen and get a nice even color. I am almost 40 and didn't notice it settle into my fine lines, but again, I was very scant with application. The colors on the product listing were a little difficult to figure out since the product photo seemed to indicate that all the colors were the same - I could find better images of the colors on the IDUN minerals website and was able to find a color that worked well with my skintone. I'm probably between the Saga and Freja colors realistically, but the Freja is not too dark and has a nice warm yellow undertone which I struggle to find in a lot of mineral powders that lean pink/cool. A little goes a very long way with this powder so I think it's a great value for a nickel free, fragrance free, top allergen free, vegan mineral powder option.

Great texture, wears well, good for light/medium coverage
I am very impressed with the performance of this foundation, particularly with regard to its texture. To test this, I applied it to half my face (apologies, I could not get good photos of the contrast), which gave me a better sense of of how it functions. The most surprising thing was that it left my skin both looking and feeling softer. While this is a powder foundation, it does not irritate my skin, nor leave it looking dusty.Instead, the half of my face I used it on felt and appeared to be more velvety.Regarding coverage, I would not consider this high coverage. To get really opaque coverage, I believe you would need to marry this with a liquid foundation. That being said, it obscures well for a powder foundation. If you are adverse to liquid make-up, this would be an excellent alternative.I applied my mineral powder foundation with a mermaid brush, which gave me even coverage that evened out my skin tone and covered minor blemishes/spots/moles.Personally, I found combining this with a spot corrector gave me excellent results without the need to wear full face liquid make-up.It also wore well, needing only minor touch-up through out the day and not showing major signs of fatigue the way many liquid foundations do.The dispenser for this powder is kind of interesting. The external decoration and design are aesthetically pleasing, while the inside is interesting.Inside, there is a turnable plastic cover similar to what you'll see on many salt shakers, which allows you to cover the holes through which the foundation comes out. That is ideal for keeping the powder where it belongs if the container get tossed around in between uses. This in turn prevents messes and spills when you open the container. The only downside of this design is getting the foundation out is kind of tricky. After trying several approaches that did not work, I ended up shaking a little powder into the lid of the dispenser, where I could then load it up into my brush.Whether you like this style of dispenser or not is something you will have to decide for yourself; however, it is definitely travel friendly, reducing messes and contamination. In the end, I would absolutely recommend this powder foundation. While I would not consider the coverage it provides "high", I do believe it is an excellent product over all. This IDUN minerals loose powder foundation offers light/medium coverage with excellent texture.Definitely a great option for fans of powder foundations.
