Would Be Great If Straps Secured.
These things take full assembly, the strap setup is unclear and the clamps wouldn't stay, making these things useless. You screw in every screw and install the straps. One star lost for the inconvenience. I'll ignore the strap issue because I figured it out.Look...when I put them on and took my first step, I felt very assured. They work great. I just wish I could've taken more steps before the straps came loose. I tried everything, tying, hooking them. Nothing works. They just come loose.Okay bye.

Awesome for the weekend warrior that doesn’t want to rent an aerator. My grass greened up fast after using these! Get some

Assembly required
Needed an aerator for our yard. Reasonable reviews and affordable. Glad I made the purchase! After fairly easy assessment it was ready to us after about 10-15 minutes. I took away one star in assembly for the straps. I had some difficulty determining which way the straps go to feel secure. Once I did it was much easier. Finally the aeration, it works! I have holes in my dirt, and did not get too clumpy. You must obviously be mindful of wet terrain otherwise easy to knock off.

They are very simple to put together
After reading the reviews, I was a bit worried. A lot of reviewers had complaints that were valid. Yes they arrived completely unassembled. Yes it took time putting each nail in and securing it. Honestly it took minutes to string the straps through, and the straps were the cause of the negative reviews for the most part. I’m not sure if others have a difficult time reading or looking at pictures but putting the straps through was the easiest part. Used them, no problem and I got 2k steps in. Worth the money, they’ll probably last many several passes on my front and backyard.

Takes time to get used to, have a helping hand near you
I have clay soil. They really stuck and I almost fell on my face a dozen times 😆. But once I knew how to walk they clearly did the job, just user error of a klutzy gardener 🤣… just be warned: may need a helping hand until you get the hang of them.. may give you a good laugh

It's a workout!
Plan on doing some high stepping! Once you strap these onto your shoes, you need to be very deliberate in your steps in order to cover the lawn. It's quite tiring since you don't normally walk with a flat foot and knees raised high up in the air. They do work, but it's a real workout!

Not for warmer climates.
Use with caution. Nearly turned both ankles. Might be because I'm in Arizona and he temp was 110° when I tried to use these spiked shoe attachments. Didn't work well for me.
