The Bamboo Style Staking Kit

We purchased this to go along with our Garden Patch Grow Box, for the tomatoes. It was very easy to put together, and is working perfectly for the GIANT tomato plants in the Grow Box. I didn't put the ties on at first, but will say that they are absolutely needed, due to the immense size of the plants and the weight. Very happy with the purchase.

I love the grow boxes and thought the trellises would be a nice addition. I bought quite a few of them at a VERY EXPENSIVE COST and they are flimsy, stuck together in such a way that they come apart constantly; they have a very flimsy elastic band inside that breaks almost immediately. They didn't begin to hold tomatoe plants the size that the boxes grow. I still use two of them on a sheltered part of my deck, but would not buy them again. The grow boxes themselves are wonderful -- you'd think that the company that puts out the boxes would be more concerned about their other products.

Arrived in its own 'sleeve' with instructions and parts. The advertised picture doesn't show that 'anchors' stretch to the surface, as well as the enormity of this product. That said, usually garden articles require large and adequate spaces in/out-doors. This first one supports three large tomato plants rather well and with minimal additions - i.e. twine. The ease of packing can only be equated to the ease of breaking it down and storing it for next season.Definitely a keeper.

This was rickety, not strong enough to hold my two tomato plants up, and came apart constantly. Not strong enough to be a support for most vegetable plants, I will not buy this again.The delivery was prompt, no problem with the service - but this product is NOT worth the money.

I am now in a townhome gardening on my deck. I didn't order this staking kit with my Grow Box. A mistake I think. I had a Better Boy and a Sweet 100 plant that took over my deck. I believe this will solve that problem Stay tuned for results.

Easy to put together and looks nice. Unlike the picture, the staking kit actually goes through the corner holes and rest on the ground with little connecting side bars for additional support. Just make sure your planter boxes aren't too close together or you may not have room to sit them side by side (if you have more than one planter). My pole beans are climbing the structure well and wrapping themselves around the top.

This is a great add on to the garden patch tray. I never thought that my tomatoes would reach the top grid but they will with in a week or two. i purchased one previously and bought this second one because my veggies are huge! May need to get another one for my third tray,

I used the stake system for 2grow boxes with 2 heirloom tomato plants in each. Unfortunately, the system is not sturdy enough to hold the karge vines and heavy fruit. The tomatoes are the size of grapefruits and are still growing, so maybe the system will hold smaller plants. I think the assembly system might need adjustments. Specifically, the small plastic pieces used to affix the crosspieces to the uprights are just too flimsy. Even with the enclosed zip ties, and I used 2 per junction, the weight of the vines pulled the pieces apart. Next year I'll try adding straps and planting only 1 plant per box.
