Easy to assemble!

Update: was contacted by seller and issues were rectified to my satisfaction. 5 stars for their customer service!Box was damaged. Metal had rust on them. Instructions were awful. Holes didn't line up. Missed return date. 2nd time writing review. Purchased last month. Extra screws and one went thru the wood top.

The desk itself when built is really high-quality for its price. The instructions itself are really horribly written but from the time of review and from when I got it are completely different. So the instructions may be better than when I got them. If they haven’t approved the instructions then I will be updating this review. They are stickers on the pieces to let you know exactly what they are disappointingly half of them didn’t have stickers. So I spent roughly around 2 1/2 hours trying to figure out where everything was. Another problem had faced was on one of the wooden desk parts because there are three, the holes were drilled incorrectly not giving me the chance to properly screwing in screws to the holes. Even more frustrating is that there were no holes that I could mount my screws in that could line up perfectly. Once I had gone past the struggles I was finally able to get everything together. It took me roughly 5 hours in total to get everything together including the time of struggling to figure out which parts were which. There are metal poles that are welded. Some of them are good and some of them are bad but not really bad. The ones that are welded perfectly together I would give them a 10 out of 10 but for the ones that are really bad I’d give them a four out of 10. This desk has been recently met mass produce so there are going to be errors in their work, but I haven’t talk to customer service because I have decided that I can go through these problems and still enjoy the desk. This desk would be an easy five star review if they tackle the problems at hand. One being the instructions, the second being organization, and the last but not least being properly set up. Even with all these problems that I’ve dealt with, if you’re willing to deal with the problems if you have that time I would still recommend getting this desk due to the high quality of the desk itself. Apparently in the beginning of their release they were quality concerns of the wood, that it would break if push too hard but I sat my entire body on each panel of wood and it was able to hold my weight. So the quality of wood is good and the metal rods and poles are of good quality as well they’re not easily bendable and even with tools I struggled. But that’s From my experience, it may be different for you. I haven’t dealt with customer service but if there is an issue you could talk with them at hand and if they don’t deal with it just refund your money.

This desk fits just right for my room. Plenty of spaces with two shelves. The white color also makes the room brighter.

As always, I read all the reviews for products that I buy on Amazon. I have learned, that you should look at both the positive and negative to gather all the facts. So with that said, I knew that the assembly instructions weren't the best, but I was looking for value & quality. So, I did buy two of them. One for me and one for my son's home office. I put mine together first, so I suffered all the same frustrations like many of the other customers. There was one particular section, I had the most trouble with, so I left it until I completed my son's desk. It took more time for me to out together mine, so that was an advantage the second time around. The major thing I learned was to separate all the pieces and label all the screws first. They are wrapped in plastic, but unlabeled. Keep everything separate, so you don't get things mixed up. Screws "A" and "E" look very similar, so be careful. The "A" screws is longer than the "E" screws. Most of the others are easy to tell apart. Never put an "A" screw through the top of the desk. They are too long and will start to poke through. Lay everything out as shown on the diagrams without attaching. Double check the configuration to make sure you lay it out with either the long or short tops the way you want them to fit in the room space. The hardest part for me was the shelves at the end., but luckily you can save that for last and even flip the table upright before you put that part together. Once I figured out how to attach it on my son's desk, it was easy like everything does once you know how. Patience is a virtue and if you take your time and read the instructions and my notes, you should be fine. I would buy another one too!

The directions and video sent by the seller for assembly were very poor. During assembly I would have to take apart pieces I just assembled due to needing to turn a part around. The screws are not labeled for easy use, and I ended up with areas in the desk where the wood is cracked due to issues with assembly. This product took me about 2 hours to assemble. If the directions were easier to follow, it should have only taken 30 minutes.
