High quality tools, and a great manual in this kit makes it a great choice.
This is such an amazing repair kit, that I was awed the entire time. When buying a screen repair kit, you hope for a nice screen and maybe a cloth to clean it off when done. Then you resign yourself to trying to find a video on YouTube to figure out how you are going to do this replacement. Actually, you probably saw a video already and figured 'that doesn't look too hard'.This kit makes it so that it is not hard. You get all the tools you need. A full color guide that shows you all the steps for disassembly in the correct order of events, Then you get instructions on the order of events to put it back together. Not just a 'do all of that in reverse' single line statement leaving you in the cold. The included instructions go over the top. There are a great many of screws that went into this phone to hold it all together. Not only are you shown which ones to remove and when to do so, they even call out the ones that are longer and go in very specific spots during reassembly. The next killer feature in this kit: the Magnet! You get a sheet about the size of the box that is a full color photo of the inside of the phone. It is backed by a very thin (and somewhat weak) magnetic sheet. Every spot where a screw goes that you remove is a colored dot, that matches the screws position. Place each screw on its dot as you take it apart, and you will zip right through putting it all back together again. You might think that a weak magnet would be a down side. In reality it needs to be just strong enough to hold the screws in place but not fight you when you want them back. You get the tools to remove the screws, remove the screen and the tiny cable plugs. The right tools for the job. No butter knife, no pliers. The tools you should should use for exactly this job. You even get a modular screw driver, with two bits. One for the special screws that hold the screen in the phone, and another one for all the tiny screws holding everything else in place. The handle in my kit was machined aluminum. The bits felt quality as well, which is important for such a small set of screw heads they deal with. This kit impressed me. This is my first iPhone 6 repair, and this did the job spectacularly. Which brings us to a conundrum: Kit lifespanThe life span of this kit is about 10 minutes. Longer if you second guess your confidence in your skills, or just take your time. But once the job is done, the kit has expended it core usefulness. Unless you break screens a lot and decided it was time to start fixing them yourself.Which brings us to an opportunity: making money. You could use this tool set and guide over and over again to fix other iPhone 6 screens. All you need to do is buy the screens. You now have the tools and until you memorize the order of events, you have a rock solid guide on how to do it.Now the down side: there isn't one with this kit. The biggest problem is going to be the dang tiny screws. If you have trouble with very small objects, you might need some tweezers to help you. Those aren't included because that is a wee bit out of the scope of the project for a vast majority of people who would by this kit. The screw driver tips are magnetic, so once you get the screw on the tip, you can easily put it back in the holes.. Or during removal, the screw comes right up and out of its hole stuck to the screw driver tip.I will be honest: I have torn down and repaired some Blackberry devices by hand (with no guides). I have also taken an iPhone 3 and 4 apart to diagnose a problem. All completely amateur activities. So I knew what to expect with fiddly screws and delicate cables. There was trepidation when I bought this, thinking maybe this modern super tight phone was going to be a bit too hard. This kit solved all of that and I feel much more confident and far more knowledgeable about the insides of an iPhone 6 now. Enough so that I am sure I could easily swap our the battery too!If I need to ever make another phone repair, this company is going to be my first stop for possible parts to do the job.** I feel so strongly about how this kit made the the job so simple, I suspect you could do this in a hotel room on a trip where you have a broken screen.

Perfect Kit
I read all of the high star reviews for this product and watched some videos to prepare myself for this repair. I was really quite nervous about it. What you see in the picture is what is included, and the purple tool is really handy and nice quality! It came with a star driver and philips driver bit as well, a suction cup (which was incredibly useless for removing the broken glass but was great after putting on new screen), and four different tools for prying up pieces and the glass. It also included a sim card removal tool pick. It ALSO included an instructional pamphlet and a screen protector, and FINALLY the coolest part of all to me, a magnetic-backed diagram of the back of the glass with color-coded circles to designate where each screw went. So as you remove it, immediately place it on this magnet diagram. This diagram was incredibly useful for me, it helped me keep track of the screws, trust me they are not all the same length and it is important to make sure you use the correct screws when putting it back together. I thought I wouldn't have to refer to the instructions so much since I saw some videos, but I completely missed the camera and earpiece from the old glass as a result. This is where the suction cup came in handy to open the phone again. Finally I was back in business, about 45 minutes from start to finish, and I'm a technical guy with some patience. If you've never done this before, this is definitely a great kit to get. I will say the instructions weren't 100% clear at certain steps, for example around the camera/earpiece there is some blue adhesive but no instructions to take it off, but I got it. The screen is just as bright as the original one at least from what I remember. And the screen does have a minor amount of thickness to it, or the housing may be a bit deeper, whatever it is clearly doesn't bother me because I have a perfectly good working phone again. Once I was done I had my peers asking me where I got the kit and if I could fix theirs ... I may have opened Pandora's Box by repairing it myself, but it wasn't hard, I could do it again with no issues, and it's all thanks to this kit for supplying everything I needed to make it happen! I also appreciated the update email from Daisy to notify me to expect my package soon, it actually came in when they said it would, today when I ordered it on Saturday almost middle of the day. And then another email to follow up. Thank you very much! I will update this review should anything happen, but for now I'm incredibly happy to have my phone back, I was quickly tired of moving my fingers over smashed bits of glass ... I would wish that on no one.
