Worked as described! Easy to use, feels tacky/sticky when ready, holds up strong! Sprayed on the roof before using the tape and got a tight seal.

I am finding that trying to prime surfaces (like a rubber roof) with acetone are ineffecient, ineffective and probably not even a good idea. So I finally went in for this stuff and I have to say that I think it's pretty much necessary to apply eternabond correctly. It sprays what seems to be almost like a aerosol-like version of the eternabond substance that primes the area in a really nice and sticky way that is impossible to get with other methods like deep-cleaning, acetone, sanding, etc. I think if you are bothering to get on top of your RV roof and risk your knees and your life to fix some leaks, I owe it to myself to use the easiest method possible. So I think it's worth the cost. It was for me much easier than keeping a bottle of acetone and cloth near enough to the roof area where I was working so that I could access it without spilling a container of acetone on my rubber roof (yikes!) It's much more practical to just have the bottle of Eternaprime. Perhaps the calculation is different if you are not balancing yourself on a rubber RV roof. I have seen comments where people say that this is just acetone but I have used both. Acetone is just a liquid and when rubbed, will completely remove not just the dirt, but paint and the existing rubber on your roof. As opposed to rubbing acetone on my rubber roof, this primes is by just spraying a mist of what seems like a very sticky substance although there might be acetone mixed in, this is not acetone. Here is my review of how I actually used the Eternabond on my trailer: https://www.amazon.com/gp/review/R1MYD6HPXHAQCF?ref_=glimp_1rv_cl

for what it is and how the tape works I am not sure you need it if you apply it if less than 60 degrees. Above that cleaning and direct application seems to work just fine....pun intended. Use this at lower temps as it is super sticky.
