Magic Suction Hook - Keep Your Shower or Bathtub Area Organized

Most suction cup hooks will come loose after a while. This one is in my shower on the glass holding up a shaving mirror(plastic mirror). The button in the middle of this suction cup device sets the cup to the glass. Every once in a while I give that button a little push. If the vacuum had started to leak down this resets it. So far after many months it has not fallen down.I suspect that if this suction cup device was put in place and forgotten for a year it just might work a little better than the cheap ones which usually fall in less than a year. But I can't yet say for sure about that. That little button makes it easy to reset the suction cup without taking it down.For those who don't know - no suction cup will hold to anything but glassy smooth finishes like flat glossy glass and glossy finished tile. Suction cups will not stick to tile that has any texture. They won't hold if you stick it up across a grout line. They won't stick to wood. They won't stick to paint on dry wall. They might stick to your forehead for about 15 seconds. But that would not be an attractive fashion trend.

i've been using this for a few months now to test it before writing the review. I first saw it in Home Depot and was skeptical about it, but decided to give it a try few weeks later, and purchased it on Amazon. It's very easy to use, and compared to my other suction cup style hooks, this one actually has a much better suction. And the red line indicator let you know when you have to push it again to keep the suction in place.Any suction cup will eventually lose the hold due to something called gravity, but this one will gives you plenty of advanced warning, and all you have to do it press it again to reactivate the suction. Just make sure the surface is flat and clean before you apply.Some people say it's pricier than others. I did some comparison, and it's actually cheaper than most. Definitely would buy again.

This suction hook works as well as far more expensive models. I have several of these along with some deluxe OXO hooks, and these perform perfectly as long as you are sticking it on a flat, non-porous surface like glass (this is true of all suction cups,) This is a fairly small hook, for something like a bath brush, squeegee, wash cloth, and perhaps a hand towel. Not big enough for a bath towel. Highly recommended despite the surpriusingly low price!

Very strong suction and absolutely does what promise to do. I’ve read several bad reviews and I really can’t figure out what they did wrong. If you read the instructions and apply these correctly on the correct surface. Then they’ll do what they’re supposed to do. I do not recommend them for showers that have sheet rock walls. My shower is a plastic liner type shower and the hold strong enough to hold anything you’d want to hang on them in the shower. VERY SATISFIED!!!

I bought these because two others of the same type have stayed up for years-- literally, 10 years in my bathroom without any signs of falling off the wall. The red line design is really good-- there is a button that you push as soon as you see a bit of red showing, and the suction is refreshed. Best suction system, worth extra money since you will not have to replace for at least 10 years!

I am not sure how this product is designed but it doesn’t hold anything for more than a few hours. It always fell and it made loud noises when things drop in my bathtub. It is just terrible design and it doesn’t hold things long which I don’t recommend it to anyone, unless you just need to hold something temporary.

Do not recommend. Zero stars. When the suction cup is first attached to the shower wall, the seal is tight. Within a few hours the suction cup falls off the wall. I had two suction cups to hold a bath mat. Both failed. I've had dollar store suction cups hold better. Disappointed.

This Magic suction hook is great. It is easy to install and holds up well to my heavy wood shower brush. Other brushes could not hold. the weight for long.There is an easy pull tab to removeGreat shower hook at a great price!

Much better made than the suction cup hook you buy from the dollar store. I use it to hang my bath brush which is not very heavy. So far no sign of losing suction (red line showing) two weeks on.

Works great so far! Actually hangs on to the squeegee we have in the shower, haven’t had to re-suction it yet!

I tried this suction cup on various different surfaces (bath, 2 types of tiles in the bathroom) - it falls off every surface. Very disappointing.

I got it for my mom and she loves it holds well

I purchased these so I could hang a mirror in the shower for my husband shaving and the Lower hook is for myself and my daughter for cleansing our faces. As you can see by my photo they work great.
