The media could not be loaded. Worked great for 2 months then stopped. Went through 6 hours of tech support. Was told by 2 techs it's the dvr. Emailed them video, pics, gave them our password to log in see for themselves. Finally, was told send pic of unit serial info on unit, receipt & a pic of the dvr info in the unit menu. Did that. I called thought I'd get same rep, nope. Then this rep wanted to start back at "let's test the power supply" nope. Will not spend another 6 hours! Read the notes. Okay. Still wanted us to go through it all again when they saw the notes. I said you have my password! I requested supervisor callback. That was 2 weeks ago. Sent email with video explained still default! Still nothing. Amazon refuses to help!!! Time to reconsider membership! *Edit: added video. When the image slides back & fourth, it picks up parts of 2 other cameras, not necessarily the 1 beside it. It's random. The unit is blacking out on its own, I am not turning it off.

So only 2 issues/complaints, one is that the IR is not powerful enough to get good quality night images. I have to use extra IR lighting, this helps alot. Second issue is ability to record license plates at night, the IR will wash the tag completely and unable to see the license plate. There are cameras that can read tags at night but you will spend alot for them, perhaps a simple filter would solve this problem. Besides this, these are great cameras and will buy again, plus I am upgrading 2 to PTZ with audio.

Product is great except for the missing power adapter fo two of the cameras

I bought this 10 camera 16 channel system thinking it would be a great replacement for the system I have had for 13 years, and might I ad I have had no issues with the old system, just wanted 4k. Have called tech support 5 times, takes to 4 different people and one I could not understand. Went through all the basic diagnoses with them, then was told I had to call back at night when the cameras were not working. I asked if it was to do the test where you shine the flashlight into the camera and see if it comes on, she said yes. I told her I had done that and it worked correctly when I performed that test. She said she could not help me till I performed it with her on the phone. 13 years experience and I have 40-50 hours already invested in this plug and play system that only half works. I’m hoping to get my money back and move on!

I started installing the cameras little by little. First we did 4 cameras and it was fine. A day or two later, we installed 2 more cameras and not even 24 hours later the system kept rebooting on its own. I tried to do a manual reboot and when I went to unplug the power adapter, it was burning up! So I let it cool overnight, and this time I made sure it was plugged directly into the socket and not on a power extension cord. It lasted longer, maybe 12 hours. Then, again, it was rebooting on its own. Touched the power adapter and it was too hot to touch. Would’ve burned me if I didn’t let it go right away. It could’ve fried my system. I hope they will cover this under warranty. I’m so disappointed. I should have 24-hour security cameras running. Even the cheap wifi ones that I had before worked way better than this expensive thing!

THE CAMERA WORKS FINE. HOWEVER, AFTER ONE MONTH THE APP DOESNOT WORK. THIS IS A VERY EXPENSIVE SYSTEM. WORKS ONLY WHILE YOU ARE HOME. NO FOOTAGE FROM APP WHILE YOU ARE OUT. WASTE OF MONEY. TECH SUPPORT IS TERRIBLE, SPENT HOURS ON THE PHONE WITH NO RESOLUTION AT THE END. THERE ARE CHEAPER SYSTEMS THAT WORKS WAY BETTER.

This product is junk. It first burned up a power supply. Now a second. Service wants to do yet another power supply. The recorder is overloading the power supplies. I am a veteran electrician and have owned by business for over 35 years. I know what I'm talking about. I bought the system to provide security with a customer service that has ridiculous protocol for trouble shooting. They could send me a new system. I still would use another company. After $900 I am very disappointed!
