Loved being able to just pour water in the bag to heat up. Taste was not bad. Only complaint is the price. Can find similar product for half the price at most camping stores although not sure how they taste. If just thinking about taste I would buy again.

Portions are too small, for what you pay. But they taste good

So i bought this and multiple other brands to see what's really worth the price for what you get. Packaging was actually pretty good. Flame ration heater actually worked very well and is very hot so out in the middle of no where this would be nice. Let it heat up for about 5 mins and squeezed out the contents into a bowl and that is where the disappointment started. The look of the spaghetti itself actually looked good, but the smell and taste is why the ratings are low. It tastes like knockoff spaghetti Os. Yes I know for a ration it's not going to be fantastic, but this was poor to say the least. Save yourself the money and just heat up a can of ravioli, this is not worth the money for what you get.

Does what it says it will do. Pro tip is to add a dash or two of salt to the water to make it self heat a little more vigorously, and therefore a little hotter. End product is quite good, and since you aren't actually exposing the food to the water you can be a little less careful where you get the water from - which can be important if you're hiking/camping somewhere that water is harder to get.

I purchased several of these for hunting. I typically hike in about 4-5 miles in the forest, and these meals were a nice treat for lunch & dinner. I agree with the other reviewers that they are slightly more expensive MRE's, and the heaters work very well. They did have a slight chemical taste, and that was my major objection. Overall, I would buy them again.
