30" - a Fish Story. I measure the length of a fish from the tip of its nose to the tip of its tail. For this fish, that distance is 24 inches. If you include the hanging string and hook, you'll get the advertised 30". Minus one star.Otherwise, it is a lovely chime and appears to be well made. It should last in the weather (rain). I've not had an adequate opportunity to listen to it, so no comment on the sound It's been added to my working collection of fish skeleton wind chimes.

Colors are vibrant and it has a pleasant, charming chime!
