Lonely Planet Kids Pop-up New York Paperback – Pop up, April 19, 2016

Gave this as a part in a gift basket, along with other souvenirs, to my niece (5 year old) and nephew (2 year old) who were visiting from England. The text on the pages were simple enough for the 5 year old reader to understand and interesting enough to keep her engaged. The pop-ups kept them both entertained. The pictures were so cute. I only wish it was a little longer! I would definitely purchase this again.

I purchased this for mythree-year-old granddaughter who LOVES NYC. She has visited most of the places featured on the book and enjoys sharing her memories of those visits as we read it. As with all pop-up books, this is best read with an adult or older sibling who can make sure the tabes and cutouts don’t tear. I only wish this book were a bit longer.

Wonderful book for kids. The pop ups are great and well constructed and will last if cared for properly. The drawings are quite nice. Overall, a great book for children!!!

Bought the book for my three-year-old grandson, who has already been to New York many times. He enjoyed the pop-up aspect of the book as well as the familiarity of the skyline and the bridge. The language is very simple, so it's quite accessible for a small child. I'd say it was a successful gift.

Such a small book and it was a hardcover even though I had paid for softcover! Adorable gift for children of NY.

But used book near perfect condition, thought we try it…. It has completely town off pop ups..

Fun books with pop-up features to introduce younger kids to NYC. I’ve seen kids from 4-10 really enjoy looking through and learning some fun facts.

I ordered this book for my 4 year old prior to her first New York trip. The pictures got her excited to go, and after we got back, she loved the book even more!
