These work really well for holding stock against the fence on a table saw or router table, but it is tough to use them on the fence to hold down stock to the table. You'll likely need to buy or make your own taller secondary fence to hold down stock. Not the fault of these featherboards, it's just that most stock fences don't have t-track style slots high enough to allow these to be installed and hold down anything more that like 1/8" stock. You'll need a taller fence to hold down anything larger. The eva foam is awesome. Lots of grip, stiffer than you'd think for eva foam, and the body does have a lot of room for adjustment.

Works great, holds boards down while cutting and prevents any backward movement. Bought them to complement the FP1 after I wound up loving it. Couple of things to be aware of: First, the t-bolt heads are on the smaller side. Depending on your t-track, you might run into issues with the bolt coming out while you're adjusting the featherboard like I did. I swapped them out for some Powertech bolts I had on hand which are larger (33/64" x 7/64" vs original 7/16" x 5/64"). See attached images. The stock bolts are 5/16"-18 x 1.5" if you need to swap. Second, for the people from those other reviews that can't read, the FencePRO FP4 is for use on a FENCE with T TRACK. From the description: "T Bolts fit 1/4″ to 3/4″ T Track" Marking it down for not working in a miter slot is asinine. If you want a miter slot variant, buy the FP1.

Saw this on YouTube 731 Woodworks and had to have it. I am 58yo woman and became obsessed with organizing our shop. Excellent featherboard, but needed to be altered to fit the miter slot on my Skil table saw. The supplied bolts fit a 3/4" slot, but my saw has a 7/8" slot. I couldn't find any t-bolts that width, so I ended up making a couple of shims. They hold securely, but it would be nice for Bow to supply slightly larger bolts. A bolt measuring 7/8th on one dimension and 3/4ths on the second would fit both the saw miter and t-track, but just turning it 90 degrees.

I used these while cutting sheet goods for a large cabinet build. They definitely helped me feel safer while cutting 3/4” plywood, They helped with stability and control. Also very helpful with ripping long boards on the table saw. Highly recommended.

These things are very cool. They slide easily in the track that I purchased & they "lock" my material in place, but permit the material to easily slide through my table saw blade with only a moderate amount of effort. No more "jumping" material or "kickback.'

Replaced my plastic ones. Once you experiment with the down/side force, they work well. Easy enough to adjust. Pretty thick and so you have to use a push stick horizontally on narrow cuts. I spent some time and money safetyizing my table saw after the Incident and these help in many situations.

I needed a set as a beginner and I think they work quite well. They keep the board where I want it and were easy for me to set up. I like the color as I can easily find them in my disaster of a work shed!

Really nice quality. This is the most important part of the set. It makes it so the pieces don’t go up and fly into your face. Love that part. I was struggling with kick back. This will help a lot. Just installed it and the build quality is great
