Do these fit inside bentgo containers?

No they don't. I bought an extra lunch bag to put the ice pack and lunch box into. The ice packs are great though!

Usually thin ice packs get warm really quick. How long do these stay cold for?

When used in conjunction with the Bentgo lunchbox, these ice packs worked great. I use two and they keep my grandson's lunch nice and cool from 7:30 am to noon. Haven't tried them for an extended period of time.
