If you're still using the original silicone strap or are using a third-party one, I'd say replace it with one of these or something like it ASAP. The silicone's going to tear eventually, making it a rather suspect "wear item"Regarding this strap in particular, since it's a Velcro-style fastener, you can adjust the tightness in any way you'd like. I also feel the nylon material makes it feel more breathable, or at the very least, it doesn't keep the sweat around on my skin (though of course, that means the strap soaks that up so you may have to wash it).The only issue is once installed, the strap is a closed loop. The material does stretch so you can fit it around a hand, but it can make getting it on and off a little unusual if you're used to straps that open up.

I ordered this band after the one that came with my Fitbit broke. Two things I never liked about that band. It was a plastic that both seemed to irritate my wrist and caused my wrist to sweat. It also never fit right because the holes that it had made the fit roo loose or too tight.This band is made of a breathable light weight nylon material. With the adjustable velcro I am able to fit the unit comfortably. I noticed that it more accurately measures my steps. It used to get me frustrated that I would walk several steps but nothing would register to the Fitbit. Probably the better fit is the reason.The price of $5.99 is very reasonable. Overall a good buy.

I hesitated to buy this worried that the velcro would be insecure and I have been pleasantly surprised. It is extremely comfortable - much more comfortable than the original band - and it stays on well through running, yardwork, etc. It was easy to replace the band and while the fitting is plastic it seems fine. The slim size is much more elegant than the original too, I got it in black for 90 's Prada vibes LOL. I do remove it to shower as the band stays wet for a bit after getting wet, but that is the nature of fabric. I am a bit curious as to how the velcro will hold up over time if I get it super dirty but we shall see.

This watch strap isn’t just better than any other I’ve seen or used, but it’s in another universe of being better. It’s a superb idea resulting in a strap that’s easy to fasten, avoids the silly 19th century awkwardness of the annoying prong & hole tech of the Fitbit supplies ones, sizes precisely while being light and vastly more comfortable than the sweat retaining rubber-like thing that Fitbit saddles you with.It’d be beyond perfect and will be for 95% of people, but it lets me down in one tiny area – size. It’s too short for me to easily get over my hand and onto my wrist. Please see the photo. I have a bit of a struggle to put the Charge 4 on or take it off. This is a minor issue when I’m cool and dry but if I’ve been exerting myself and am sweaty, it becomes a major annoyance. The band, when fastened does go around my wrist but it doesn’t have much leeway.As I said, this is likely an issue for a very few. My glove size is 10 yet I struggle there to get some of those sized gloves on. Once on, they’re all right but the width of my hand squeezing into place is an issue. Even with this bit of annoyance, I’m happy as can be with this strap. I only wish it was 2 cm or about 1” longer.Highly recommended.

I like that it seems breathable and so far it doesn't irritate my skin. I am a very active martial artist and was looking for a band that I could clean after practices that wouldn't irritate my skin after building up a sweat during practice. I have only had it for a few days but that alone was enough time to see a considerable difference for my skin compared to silicone bands advertised for sportier lifestyles. I like that it's velcro instead of a metal fixture with pin/hole like a regular watch band because it allows for more versatility in adjusting the watch placement on my arm for different activities. It is just large enough with the perfect elasticity for me to slide my foot and heel through it so I may use it on my ankle which is ideal when I'm doing Taekwondo. The connection to my Fitbit Charge 3 is solid and secure. I feel it's an excellent alternative and fit my needs wonderfully.

The silicone band that came with my Charge 4 fell apart after less than a year. I was looking for a replacement band that did not use a latch and was made out of a more durable and breathable material, and settled on this one. I'm quite happy with it - The band material is soft, comfortable, and has some elasticity to it. The strap folds back on itself and is secured with a hook and loop fastener which so far holds very well. There is a stop at the end of the strap to keep it from coming loose from the Fitbit when taking it off the wrist - a nice touch.I like this band better than the original that the Fitbit came with. A very good buy.

Wore this strap for 6 months before the plastic connection to the Fitbit broke. I wouldn't say there's anything particularly unique about how I wear my watch, I don't think. It sits fairly loosely on my wrist during the day and I tighten it a bit behind my wristbone for workouts. The product is cheap so I guess you get what you pay for, but I was hoping it would last at least a year.

I love this band as it doesn't cause irritation to my skin like the original rubber one did (allergic to latex) however I did notice it does seem wear down and snag on things within a few months along with the annoying fact that it will have a long drying time If you get it wet! (Didn't think about that prior to buying) however for the price and comfortablility of it I would probably buy it again not gonna lie! 4 out of 5 stars from me
