AP Comparative Government and Politics: An Essential Coursebook, 7th ed Perfect Paperback – December 11, 2015

I told myself that I would write a review on this book when AP exam results came in, so here I am. I can now officially conclude that this book is magic. I self-studied this course with this book as my ONLY reference/guidance throughout the year. Every bit of the material I came across on the AP exam was covered in this book. You cannot find a better reference for AP Comparative, I'd recommend this for teachers, students, or anyone interested in a clean-cut introduction to the politics of Iran, Nigeria, Mexico, Great Britain, Russia, and China, as it's certainly helped me better understand the recent election in Mexico.

This book is a lifesaver for Comparative Government and Politics AP. I bought it after many people posted about how useful it was on reddit, and I do not regret it at all. The size is nice so I can carry it wherever and it's much much much more useful than any other textbook I've used; it gives the facts you need to know without all the other fluff that textbooks tend to have.

While the charts and graphs are marginal, the content is clear & concise - a great review.

Excellent book! I self-studied AP Comparative Government and made a 5 by using this book and the one by Barron's. I suggest reading through Ethel Wood's book *completely* and then review the material with Barron's. Good luck!

My granddaughter is using this as part of a summer assignment for a government class....so far, so good

Best book for this AP

The content was useful for the class but the quality was called into question by the repeated typos. At one point a persons name was spelled wrong. Needed some more review before publishing
