Watermelon Slicer Cutter and Server + Knife Gift Box

I received the product on discount and went to try it out. The pin that was used to cut the watermelon was poorly made and not enough sharp they just need stamp the pin and not make it flush on the side of the slicer that causes addition friction while cutting the watermelon. The Epoxy handle helps with the gripping and it's easy to clean.other then that its owsome

We eat watermelon a lot in our household and always used a knife to cut the watermelon so we wanted to try this. It actually works really well as long as you don't mind different sizes not very pretty slices. It works awesome if you want to be able to hollow the water melon so you can use it for a fruit bowl for those summer picnics. I am glad we now have something other than a knife to cut our watermelon. It seems to be pretty durable.I did receive this product at a discounted price in exchange for my honest review.

I received this watermelon knife at a discount for my honest review. It was just ok. I have always used a knife to cut up my watermelon, but was intrigued by this. Honestly, it's much easier to use a sharp knife. This slicer had an overall cheap feeling, and I had a hard time slicing the watermelon. I kept feeling like the watermelon knife was going to break. While I may use it a few times because I received it at a discount, I would never pay this asking price for this product.

What can I say about the GoMin watermelon slicer that hasn't been said about the wheel, penicillin, or the iPhone... this is one of the greatest inventions of all time. My girlfriend and I would constantly argue over who had to cut the day's watermelon slices. It's one of those chores NO ONE wants to do! You know, the old "I spent the entire day rearing OUR child, maybe YOU can pitch in a little and slice this watermelon?" and of course "You think I have the energy to slave over this watermelon? I worked a 12 hour shift to come home to THIS?". These are the things that can destroy an entire relationship. It got to the point that our child could sense the tension. The minute I heard him in his bedroom re-enacting our daily watermelon fights with his G.I. Joes, I knew we had to make a change. That's when I found the GoMin watermelon slicer. May be if you want a good exercise you would love them. These take too much effort. I would rater use a knife. The two prongs are held together a rod that pushes through the water melon to cut it out. However, it leaves a lot of fruit behind so you still have to go in with a knife. To me its a waste of time. Nice idea but this one did not work. I did cut the water in four pieces first. But, I think it still requires a lot of effort. I tried another slicer and got the same results.Sample provided without any obligations.
