75' Expanding Hose by Titan Garden

I wanted to love this hose...
The feature list checks all the marks on these hoses however in practice, they were total failures. I bought one 75' and two 150' hoses, and on the first day of use, the 75' and one of the 150's failed catastrophically. The hose itself is a fiber outer encasing a vinyl watertight core, with a rubber string through the entire length. At the brass fitting end that attaches to the nozzle, there is a crimped collar that secures the fiber and inner core to a complicated fitting inside the knurled brass outer sleeve. This is the hose's weak point. Both of our failed hoses appeared bent at that crimp, the fiber hose was angled under pressure where it exits the brass fitting. It looked like it was assembled incorrectly, and the hose was not square to the brass fitting. We have normal water pressure from our town water supply. Our slow drip system works fine off the same bib, but with two of the three hoses failing on day one, all three are going back. Bummer... So wanted these hoses to work for us.

It didn't even last 24 hours!
I bought this hose and a brass pressure regulator yesterday and it was delivered last night with Prime one day shippingSo far so good - got everything hooked up and tried it out - worked pretty good. I had some doubts because after I ordered it I started taking a closer look at the reviews and it seems that the majority (if not all) of the reviewers were either given this hose for free or at a substantial discount in return for their review....hmmmmWell - this afternoon my wife went out to water some potted plants - and the hose is leaking like a sieve! Didn't even make it 24 hours!! Check out the picsThe first two show where it is leaking near the end and the third is of my brand new, brass pressure regulator which is supposed to drop the pressure down to 40-50 lbs

Great design, mediocre quality
We are disappointed in this hose. Received it 6 days ago. Followed instructions to the letter. Just used it today for the 4th time. As soon as it filled up, I noticed a leak a couple of inches from the valve end, around a seam. This feels like an expensive sports car: Looks great, performs well, but spends half its life in the shop, getting fixed. To be fair, until today, my wife and I both really liked this hose. It is lighter than a regular hose, when you empty out the water. However, if you plan on owning it for a long time, keep in mind it is high maintenance for a hose: I recommend: a) following all instructions to a T, and b) empty it out each time and put it in a sealed container to protect it overnight. We plan on getting a refund and looking for a more durable, more reliable hose.

Definately not a "titan" when it comes to durability
Bought two of these expensive hoses, a 75 ft and a 100 ft so that I could have a hose in the front and the backyards. Ad states that hoses are very durable and pictures looked like they were. However less than two months into the summer the hose's skin began leaking and soon after burst open. Now waiting for the second one to do so. Definitely a waste of money.

Do not buy
DO NOT BUY THIS!!!!!!!It broke already and it was not cheap. It was not abused in any fashion. TERRIBLE WASTE OF MONEY.I must add, buy such items where you can take them back. I may be buying more things "locally " than on line.Poor products from Amazon seem to be more frequent; maybe too big and less caring.

Blew up in 3 months, won't buy again.
The hose burst today as I was washing my car. It is seldom used and stored in a shady area inside a pot so there should be no reason for it to wear out in just a few months. I'm going to have to figure out if there is a warranty on this as a hundred dollars is a pretty expensive hose.

Great hose for a week
Great hose for a week. I've had a lot of these expanding hoses and know how to take care of them, having had to replace all pretty quickly. Most went with the learning curve. This one I treated like my first born, never putting any stress on it, never leaving it under pressure.. didn't matter. After a week after paying 75 for it and treating it so well, it blew a stream out the side. Being 70 I can't manage heavy-duty hoses but have to give up on the expanding ones, no matter how much brass they have

Confused.........
New 75' Expanding Hose by (Titan), Professional Grade Expandable Garden Hose. Solid Brass Connectors, Durable Double Layer Latex Core, Extra Strength Fabric, 3/4 USA Standard Expandable HoseOn the 31st day, my hose actually popped. Very disappointed in the quality and construction of this product. I would highly consider alternatives to this brand.
